Like, topics of the interview are surrealism and God??? Who the fuck cares??? Bitch talk about the surrealism of a new album and the God a Ray Of Light Deluxe edition would be

Very deja vu. Expect surrealism = Rocco discussion and M will be in flirt mode. Hopefully not to shallow but imagine a similar sit down with a Nile Rodgers or even a Kurt Loder or a contemporary musician

    Yet. ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ

Zero reissues yet. I don't think M and team have any interest in the type of reissues that would just satisfy a lot of fans. l expect no reissues but more Tokischa like revisits

There is soooooooooo much in the vault its an utterly crazy situation for a global star but team M wont even produce a tour book

I have the world’s shortest memory sometimes, I swear. What happened at the end of the RH Tour?

Rocco family drama and end of tour burn out, but we also got TOAC as her outlet which was a great way to be sad and perform (pity they broke the promise on releasing it)

I wish she would channel it into writing some ballads and avoid the dance artist box she puts herself in

It’s no coincidence during Madonna‘s performance of “keep it together” during blonde ambition she says without your family and friends “You are nothing” Which is essentially the name of Sandra‘s one woman show turned into a film  “Without You Im Nothing”

I did love her cover of Prince in that, it was a funny subversive show. They were good for each other at that time but her chasing popular fame after that fell flat, she had to curb the honest comedy an commentary and was never the same. The Rosanne stink was well, obvious :poo:

This may be an unpopular opinion here but it seems many of you just don't get it.  Sandra hasn't used Madonna's name over the years to get press -- the press has asked Sandra about Madonna over and over and over and over because, if you were around back in the late 80's, they caused quite a stir.  There was a huge fascination in their friendship. Longtime fans of both loved hearing Sandra talk about her in her shows -- because she spilled tea.  But either way, Sandra was already well on the rise before she & Madonna struck up their friendship.  Sandra starred in Martin Scorcese's King of Comedy with Robert DeNiro way before all that.  She was a regular -- and hilarious -- guest on David Letterman for YEARS.   Yes, her association with Madonna introduced her to a wider audience, but it now follows her around everywhere.

I am 100% certain if she showed up at a Madonna show, there'd be a ton of buzz and people trying to take her picture etc. because tales of their falling out are so well known.  I don't think she means she'd take the attention off the star, I think she means she just wants to go enjoy the show as an audience member and not feel on display.  (The way someone like Rosanna Arquette or Sean Penn or Rosie O'Donnell is gonna get attention at an M show too.) Sandra may not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's not a nobody.  She is a brilliant comedienne who continues to tour, and hosts her own show on SiriusXM.   Younger people might view her as "too negative" but that was part of her brand.  A darker, hilarious, bitter, cynical point of view.  She was brash and loud, in your face, and dangerous.  And SO much fun for those with a wicked sense of humor.

For those of us there at the time, Madonna's times out and about with Sandra were some of the first times we got a taste of Madonna's own sense of humor, they went out to clubs and restaurants, walked red carpets, and 'caused a ruckus everywhere they went.  In gossip columns and followed by paparazzi.  This was long before Instagram and Tik Tok.  We almost NEVER got a peek into celebs' personal lives -- so when we heard about who Madonna was running around with, we ate it up.  There was something really powerful about seeing 2 strong women tearing it up and not giving a f*ck what anyone thinks of them.

Well said. In so many areas its important to know your history or listen to those who do

I was wondering, as we approach the 20th anniversary of this amazing tour, what can we expect?

As it began in May 24th and ended on September 14th, I think it would be amazing to have an announcement of a blu-ray release on the day that marks the 20th anniversary of the beginning of the tour and its release on the day it ended. With this, the whole experience would come full circle and give an end to this long 20 year wait of a proper release on home-video.

Are you high or just an eternal optimist? Expect nothing despite the mountains of unreleased footage from concert and doco

Of course it does not "sit well" with you miss thing. Aren't you tired of pretending to be a Madonna fan to troll her forums ? We know you are a Jackson fan, can't you just enjoy their work on their dedicated forums ? It's embarrassing.

The first line was spot on at least.

Why would Madonna lie that it was a film made for fans, very weird. Its a total vanity project that misses by a wide mark like all with Jonas.

Girls lets' be real one of us could probably do a better job of uploading her digital singles in a single afternoon. They've stopped sourcing rare versions and the scans are poor. They're dragging it out like a mother fucker and offering these little side plates because no main course has been served from her in nearly five years. Some reissued picture discs, some cute (at times) features and a fairly decent and almost comprehensive remix album...which is essentially what the remix eps are anyway.

I'm not hating I'm just being real.

Team Madonna has essentially been this for half a decade now.

It is reality, consistently obviously very bad, We are starving.

To me, Taylor Swift is insufferable. She seems spoiled, disingenuous, immature, and entitled. I find her music mediocre at best, and her live performances are a travesty. I think after the changing of the guard at the end of the 2000’s with the arrival of people like Lady Gaga there was a rejection of the mystique of the untouchable star, and everyone had to become accessible and cater to the fan base and public. I believe Madonna suffered a lot as a result of this as she was suddenly characterized as looking down her nose at her public. But Taylor Swift is what resulted from that. This “every girl” who has the same idiot emotional spectrum as her overgrown fans. She’s 34 writing poetry straight out of a Dear Diary for Dummies that you’d expect from 14 year-olds, and the generalized infantilism of young adults in today’s culture means they hail her a genius of authenticity and relatability. The standards are unbelievably subpar nowadays, and having a juggernaut of popular music history like Joni Mitchell perform tonight only further emphasized the contrast. All just opinions, for sure, and while Swift irks me when I see her, I have to say she’s also usually quite easy to ignore. While I’m sure she didn’t intend to so blatantly disrespect Celine Dion by grabbing her award from her without acknowledging her with even eye contact, it just serves as an example of everything I suspected about her…that her head is ultimately so far up her own ass that she can’t help herself .

There is room for many types still. Madonna does have that trait with fans, more of a tease than looking down her nose but did whatever it was to herself via a narcissistic Instagram/SM presence, ignoring many fans and sometimes compromising her artistic visions. Taylor obviously fills a valid space, including her personal lyrics (you really cant genuinely question the song writing talent) and not needing to be cool like M falls into the trap of still. I have learned to appreciate her honesty, smarts, fun and simplicity compared to M but she may only be guilty of trying too hard to please too many tonight, kindness sometimes backfires or is awkward.
