Totally missing the point. You already have those. This argument started when I replied to a comment complaining how these old maxis were being treated as new releases to please fans on streaming. You might be happy listening to cruddy ol cassettes but that's not how everyone else likes to listen to music. Adding her stuff to streaming SHOULD be seen as a good thing and an improvement on the quality.

I never said it wasn't dear. I was simply saying that we should respect how others collect their music but you seem to be defensive and argumentative about the subject.

Anyway, I'm not baiting the bait any further. Moving on.

    :jumpy:

  2. Not y'all arguing who uses physical and who doesn't :rip:

The point is, this deal was made to please her fans, to be released on physical and digital (as it has been). Who gives AF how you or anyone else listens to it - just buy it and enjoy it.

I will gladly spin my vinyls and play my horrid sounding cassette tapes when these albums finally roll out. :Madonna057:

If we really want to dream big, I'd love one-off concerts dedicated to each album (in NYC ) of her career, in which Madonna performs the whole album in its entirety with themed staging, costumes, and performance production themed around that album cycle - transporting Madonna back in time to each era for one night only!!! :dance:

This would be amazing but she would only do it for landmark albums I think. I always thought a Ray of Light one-off show would be super cool.

The way the Interscope albums will be back under the Warner roof by the time the first reissue happens. It seemed like a huge way off at the announcement.

    Wild. Absolutely wild.

    Time goes by so slowly.

Maybe a lot of the sales drivers for the reissues were built around the biopic which was put on hold hence the radio silence.

Imagine if the first big reissue is like MDNA or something :rip:

the funny thing is that other artists have something like 5 album ....... M work is huge..... is really really huge. We can have amazing box sets and gh and what else for every anniversary or celebration....... but nothing........ zero.......nada...... niente........

Well to be fair, Finally Enough Love box set was impressive and a great way to launch to projects but since then we have.....dust.

so my question @musicinferno is: what they are waiting for?

Probably Madonna herself. We all know she's a control freak and wants to be hand-on with every single step. She was busy from 2020-2022 writing that (likely canceled) movie, now she's on tour, afterwards she will probably move on to a new project. So who knows? She works soooo slowly nowadays.

M legacy is something huge and she really change pop music..... so my only hope is that they will give us amazing editions......... full of unreleased songs, rarities and that they will put every single care they can in every album.....

Exactly, which is why her discography deserves better. It angers me when I see all these other (flop) artists come out with stunning anniversary box sets in gorgeous packaging and extensive songs but all we get from Madonna is a new coloured wax.

Probably figure they'd rather milk fans over an extended period of time. I sure as hell wouldn't by a ticket for several hundred dollars, buy merch like shirts jackets etc for several hundred dollars (if you're buying more than one item) plus spending money on hotels ubers food and plane tickets...I'm less inclined to think casual fans would shell all that money and to top it off buy a box set which i would assume would also be several hundred dollars and having to pack it on a plane lol and thats if they sold it at the venue. If they had just released the pre-order it would be even less of a priority since you're gonna be saving money for going to actually see her. Not everyone has that much disposable income and im sure alot see this as their vacation.

Ok but nobody is forcing you to buy the merch. Besides, all that stuff is on her website too; I was merely pointing out that if they released some reissues, they could have made thousands more by selling it at the shows as well as in stores.

And just to point out, those lines for merch booths were MASSIVE, so yes people went there prepared to spend lots of money on her.

That, and it seems her mic was not working, you can hear the vocals on the backing tape at low volume and her live vocals come in pretty harsh 2 times, not timed, just BAM. Seems to me that her mic was not working... Or am i wrong?..

I think that's likely what happened. Thank god it didn't stop the show.

I think the worst was MDNA in St Louis when her sound went out during I'm A Sinner and she stopped everything.

What do you guys think happened here? ..

Tony got sick and had to leave the room to throw up while he was trying to change her costume. She clothed herself and her wig kept getting stuck in the body suit. Then she tripped on the way to her que under the stage and hit her head, having to wipe off all the blood.

I just made that up :polish:

  10. I really enjoyed the deep insight in her early years. He praised her more than he bitched about her, but it still shocks me how horrible she treated him when he was desssing her in her first 3 tours. Of course she was rushed and stressed in between sets but the way she screamed at him was disappointing. He seemed to really enjoy the entire time they were on the road with The Girlie Show, I think he even said that's when he felt closest to her.

I can't believe she took his ideas from the planned ROL Tour and used them for the DWT.
