Let's say that they'll reissue the first album along with Like a Virgin this year, what do you think could be the tracklist?
Realistically, and if they're willing to package this as a boxset, they could do something like this.
CD 1 - ORIGNAL FIRST ALBUM WITH 4 BONUS TRACKS:
09-Ain't No Big Deal
10-Burning Up (Steve Bray Demo)
11-Everybody (Steve Bray Demo)
12-Ain't No Big Deal (Steve Bray Demo)
CD 2 - ORIGINAL LIKE A VIRGIN ALBUM (+ ITG) WITH 4 BONUS TRACKS:
11-Desperately Seeking Susan [Unreleased]
12-Angel (Steve Bray Demo)
13-Over and Over (Steve Bray Demo)
14-Shoo-Bee-Doo (Steve Bray Demo)
CD 3 - THE REMIXES:
01-Everybody (UK 12" Mix)
02-Burning Up (12" Mix)
03-Lucky Star (US Remix)
04-Borderline (US Remix)
05-Like a Virgin (Extended Dance Remix)
06-Material Girl (Extended Dance Remix)
07-Angel (Extended Dance Remix)
08-Dress You Up (12" Formal Mix)
CD 4 - THE VIRGIN TOUR
Of course we can always wish for more but if these two albums are packaged together, this will limit the possibilities for the tracklist to be truly expanded as I don't see a 8 CD Boxset being released. Also, as much as I would like the Vision Quest tracks along with these, I feel like they won't get included, though I'd like to be proven wrong and have Crazy for You (with its Jellybean demo), Gambler (with its Steve Bray demo) and of course Warning Signs.
- Leona Helmsley, Ayham and Ian

Glad to see the video being released at last. She looks great in it. I wonder if the Fortnite deal is the reason it's out latter than we expected.

Isn't Madonna facing the wrong way in this pic? She's facing the other way on the physical releases 🤔
There were two versions of the cover, like the Bedtime Stories album. The cover on the digital release isn't what it looked like on most releases but it was like that for some.

I agree, at least the Single Remix is there, @Curtainswill be happy
Glad the Single Remix is there indeed as it's my favorite version, but too bad that this release is an incomplete one still. It's not that hard to get all these remixes on streaming, in this case they've been available in digital source for years and can even be found on this forum.

Yes sorry It was a mistake. I believe I read somewhere that it was lipped alongside other songs on these shows and included it on my list. Will edit the list now.
I also have to update my post with the Celebration Tour.

I actually downloaded your amazing EP but couldn't find the difference in the 4:10 version lol
The album version is 4:00, that's why, the video version is 4:10.

Do you know what are the differences of the video version and the album or 7" version?
The video version has a longer ending, you can find that version on my Remastered EP Collection.

Is the 7" version on FEL actually any different from the album version? It's the same length no?
My favourite version is the cold ending on Immaculate TBH
Considering they’re mostly going with the UK/US tracklists, I guess the Material Girl single on streaming will just be this:
01 - Material Girl (2024 Remaster)
02 - Material Girl (Extended Dance Remix - 2024 Remaster)
03 - Pretender (2024 Remaster)
The Angel Remix and Into the Groove were on the Japanese tracklist but I feel like an Angel/Into the Groove single is more likely. I also don’t see them releasing the Video Version as it was never commercially released. The 7“ Version from Finally Enough Love is just the album version.
And The Immaculate Collection version is also my favorite, I love the little extra echos and the cold ending as well.

Which app or system do you use for the remastering
FL Studio is my go to software to remaster/produce stuff.

Interesting Ray of Light seemed to be the high point of the show with the audience - the show I went to it was Hung Up that got the biggest reaction
Same for my show it seemed that Hung Up got the biggest reaction, followed by Mother and Father and La Isla Bonita.

This one indeed isn't very good. I wasn't so shocked about the other upscales but this one looks surprisingly bad. I'll continue to watch this one which, while looking cartoony on some parts, is still better in my eyes.

Madonna is my fourth most listened artist this year on Spotify.
-Back That Up to the Beat - demo version is my 9th most listened song.
-Vulgar is my 13th most listened song.
-Popular is my 18th most listened song.
-Back That Up to the Beat - sped up version is my 43th most listened song.
Other than Madonna, Kylie Minogue is, according to Spotify, my favorite artist for the second year in a row. Padam Padam, Tension and Vegas High make my Top 3 for this year.

Agree. It looks nice but it doesn’t suit the opening section.
Having said that it’s been fun seeing all these slight changes. It’ll be interesting to see what else she changes through the US leg.
The new ponytail vs. curls I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if a thread like that appear in the forum soon!

Hasn't it been live since 2008?
No the rap has always been lip-synced in Sticky and Sweet, MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X Tour.

Catching up with the thread.
At my Paris show (November 19th), Madonna did leave the stage saying "Thank you Paris! Bonne nuit! Good night", or something along those lines. I guess it just depends on her mood I don't know. She seemed very relaxed and happy at that specific show.
Die Another Day is definitely live with a backing track. At some point she sang a line slightly early at my show and you could hear it quite clearly. Some tracks have a more prominent backing track than others (NRM after the intro, Bitch I'm Madonna, Bad Girl and Hung Up being the ones were it is pretty much as loud as her actual voice). From what I gathered, Everybody's backing track is very loud and she sings with it during the verses and bridge, but doesn't sing during the choruses, making these lip-synced. Erotica's spoken parts are lipped while she sings with the backing track for the singing parts. Justify My Love is fully lipped. Surprisingly the rap in Vogue is live, for the first time ever in a tour.

I think the B-Sides are most of the time chosen right, as they tend to not be as strong as most of the songs from the albums they were recorded for.
-Ain't No Big Deal is my least favorite track released from the first album era.
-Supernatural is ok, better than Love Song for me at least, but I don't come back often to it.
-Let Down Your Guard is worse than all the tracks that made the album, but being a rough edit, it doesn't help.
-Has to Be is actually good, I like it better than some of the tracks released on Ray of Light (namely Little Star, Candy Perfume Girl, Shanti and even Mer Girl). I know it was a last minute decision to replace it with To Have and Not to Hold, but both deserved a spot on the record. Oh well, at least it's on the japanese version.
-I never liked Cyber-Raga, it's probably my least favorite song from the era and that includes the unreleased songs too. It's way too overproduced for me.
-History is ok and better to have it this way than not having it at all but most of us will agree that the demo version was way better than the version released, which feels more like a remix. As it is, it's probably worse than the other released tracks of Confessions besides maybe Super Pop.

Would love to get the Passengerz Hell's Kitchen Mix on streaming as well. I doubt we will but l never thought we would have gotten Fever (Edit 2) either so anything is possible.
I'd love to get the original Single Mix of Keep It Together too at some point.

Writing my little review, as I was there at the show last night.
This was my first time seeing Madonna after my planned date for Madame X got cancelled and what a show. It was a dream come true. After a rough 2023 for me, when she came on stage at 22:05 (pretty much what I expected) singing Nothing Really Matters I bursted into tears. I couldn’t control it but after the first few minutes I managed to « keep it together ».
I was really impressed by her energy. Her moves were on point and she was in a very good mood (she tried to speak French a few times and was humble, very down to earth). And so was the crowd, who reacted really well to Hung Up (probably the highlight, everybody was so into it), Bad Girl (I was surprised to see so many people sing along), Vogue, Don’t Tell Me, Mother and Father (surprisingly as well), I Will Survive (especially when she sang in French), La Isla Bonita and the Like a Virgin/Billie Jean interlude. Her vocals were also really great. From what I could hear she seemed to be singing everything live besides Justify My Love, most of Erotica and the choruses of Everybody. The rest was sung beautifully and blended really great with the backing track when there was one. Her voice seemed in really good shape.
I was seated in Carré Or, close to the end of the catwalk, so I had a very nice view of the whole stage most of the time. I really appreciated how the screens were an important part of the performances at times. Justify My Love and Die Another Day really reflected this. The lighting effects, especially the lasers, were also amazing, Erotica, Ray of Light and once again Die Another Day being the highlights there. The staging during Like a Prayer was really well done too.
There were very few fuck ups, which actually made some cute unique moments. During Nothing Really Matters, she sang "I was the only one" way too early, and then realized when she sang the next line and stopped midway through. During Open Your Heart, the lady dancer kinda lost her balance while doing the backflip on the male dancer while on the chair, though she didn’t fall and quickly recovered. On Don’t Tell Me at the end of the song she started to sing while she was supposed to stop at that point (well don’t tell her to stop). She then realized, stopped, and smiled at the audience and then mouthed something at them, laughing.
As for the setlist I found it really great overall. The crowd didn’t seem into the beginning of the sex section though, where the mood kinda went down, probably due to the two songs not being danceable/singable enough. The Beast Within and Bedtime Story also didn’t really seem to leave an impression on the crowd, though the staging and theatrics from my point of view were actually quite good from my seat. The ending to be honest though was quite abrupt and it feels like the crowd expected one more song. The only song I really missed was Music, which from what I read was planned in a section that was later removed after she was hospitalized. I also feel like Frozen would have had more of an effect on people than Rain, though she looked beautiful during the performance. The only thing that bothered me, though that might be due to where I was seated, is that the bass was really loud. It made the speech before Holiday pretty much inaudible, and I felt like the room was about to explode at the beginning of Erotica. But that might be just me being sensitive. Also I expected Stuart Price to open the show, but he didn’t so that was a bummer, though I can’t blame anyone for that.
So AS A SUMMARY, that was an excellent show. I so wish I could be able to go a second time. I had an amazing time and now feel so weird that the show is over. I keep watching videos of the show over and over again and I just can’t stop. It makes me wanna go on a Madonna marathon all over again, which I will probably do. I would definitely recommend to everyone to watch this show in person!

The Q-Sound Mix is actually my favorite version of Live to Tell. I like that the intro is slightly shorter, for my taste the album version drags a bit too much. I don't mind the echoey vocals at all either.
