It's like she's been woken up after a long time and asked to perform out of nowhere. There's still amazing things she could do even at that age but she'll reduce them to glorifying a culture that only teenagers could appreciate. We cannot always congratulate her for trying. Cause this ain't trying much.

These photos make me particularly happy because we rarely see her in orange. She has said somewhere that it was her least favourite colour which disappointed me because I love it. This cardigan looks great on her. And those legs... damn. She would have looked much much better without the hideous sunglasses.

At this point I would simply love a one off single with anybody. Something chill for the hotter weather like Crave. Pretty sure it's about Frozen though. Let's hope it thaws out in May at last. She can make it big on TikTok with a new song if it's catchy enough, now that's a challenge.

It is but back then greek pop music was flourishing with much much better songs that this for a night out Sometimes I hear a Madonna record and I'm pretty satisfied even with the most underrated tracks and then I listen to what other people were doing and yeah I wish she had replaced those few ones on the record. The human need to compare I guess.

Manifesting this energy for every damn lead single or soundtrack she ever does in the future.

Of course we can't trust Madonna to still stand by certain things we've thought about her. It's been said here that she's now beyond any chart and statistic and I'm pretty sure she has implied it herself. Now here she is posting new stories every day of Frozen's new peaks on the charts.

So is she holding a premiere for the audio tomorrow or will it casually drop on Spotify at midnight? Anybody know?

I can understand how someone can feel that Madonna's quality of work has deteriorated over the past decade. But I always saw her current work in the time it was released. It's a fact that pop music in general has deteriorated and has in many ways separated itself from art. I feel like nowadays the acclaim goes to hip hop girls, to some overrated pop sweethearts that would never get that praise in the 00's and sometimes to women who have that one or two masterpieces in them before they disappear. Madonna has created like three or four of those already. Fans who mostly complain now have no interest in current popular music and have that unfair expectation of Madonna to save music for them and work with old minds, whether they themselves have the creativity any more or not. I believe that some of Madonna's most recent albums pale in comparison to her previous century classics but they stand out in today's musical landscape so it's a lie that she's lost interest. She's just changed with the times. And let's not pretend that she was actually making art with records like Music or Like A Virgin or Bedtime Stories. Many fans would love to crush those albums had they not been successful. But they are and fans enjoyed the music of the time better because it was actually better. And Madame X rocks. It's still a masterpiece hidden behind all the autotune and the 'teenagers' she collaborated with. Sometimes it's just new seasonings so that no record of hers sounds the same as the previous ones. Who could you say that about after 14 albums?

I'd like to add to this topic with something a little different, from the real life this time. Don't tell me that the first ever pics of Rihanna being pregnant didn't ring a bell to you? Life imitates art, right?

Her video post has been watched over 10,4 million times, has this ever happened before? In the song Sorry she says she doesn't want to hear it, but leaders like him are too inhuman to even think that word.

I would perhaps exclude Celine Dion from that. Her Courage album from 2019 had somewhat stronger sales than Madame X, especially in Canada and France but also the US. But I see your point. She is the only deserving queen to surpass Madonna's less commercial efforts.

I also had a change of heart for this album. Second one actually as I loved it when it first came out and after a few years I didn't. Fans always consider this particular album her lowest point along with Hard Candy, but MDNA is far superior. You can listen to it all the way through without getting a headache, like from HC's inexplicably long tracks and their RnB beats. It can feel rushed and like a mess but it wasn't meant to be more than that. But even for those who take each piece of Madonna's discography very seriously, they can see it as one of the most reflective pieces of Madonna's life. Having divorced from her company, from her man, having rebellious teenage children all over the place, a woman on the last of her reproductive days, she was going through a lot. MDNA came out to be a divorce record with great energy to match her peers and even her children's energy. She was angry then she was sad then bitter and this record was her catharsis in a way. We have to appreciate it for the honesty, it being more vulnerable than even the least known tracks of COADF. For its dance quality which puts most of today's pop albums to shame. Of course we could all do without some of its tracks like Superstar and GMAYL. But that is for every album she makes. Like A Prayer's Love Song is kinda meh, Ray of Light's Shanti/Ashtangi, Erotica's Did You Do It? and so on. That said I still can't get over tracks like Girl Gone Wild, I'm Addicted, Gang Bang, Some Girls, I Don't Give A, I'm A Sinner and Masterpiece. I have started to enjoy Love Spent and Falling Free as well. The sound well has somehow aged. But I've learned to enjoy it for what it was back then and all memoried associated to it. There is a smaller great album in MDNA and very Madonnaesque, just not the part of her some fans can appreciate. A mourning album by a divorced woman is always better received. A mad divorced woman doesn't click. I'd even put it ahead of Hard Candy, Like A Virgin, Music and probably beside her first one. It's not polished and it's not complete, but her life wasn't either.

There's the Madonna albums that I find very enjoyable and the ones that inspire awe in me and Erotica is one of latter. I think it's a great record but not the one I could listen to entirely for many times from start to finish, mostly due to the genre(s). Her lyrics make me blush, the music to touch myself but essentially it is an album about trying to find love. She started this with Like A Prayer, trying to find it in God and family, now she's looking for it in other people, lovers and society. My favorite songs have got to be Erotica, Deeper and deeper, Rain, Bad Girl for the sound and Why's it so hard, Where life begins and Secret Garden for the lyrics. I adore how almost every title is a blatant sexual reference or an innuendo. Def top 3 material by her!

You're right but asking for a number one is not what we should be doing. I think what us fans mostly crave is some longevity on the charts. You see her singles chart all over the world and after a week or two they disappear. Her albums score at some point like 70 no.1 places on iTunes around the globe and a second later they are falling free. It's important that her records, apart from Madame X maybe, all had very healthy sales and charted very high. A number one single is most welcome but she is an albums artist and she doesn't need that. What I really want to see is some single and album material, also some smart, steady promotion, that will have her name constantly on the charts for weeks even at number 15. Older artists will forever have the strongest physical sales which are the ones that actually matter. The newer ones can enjoy their five years of superstardom because it's all downhill after that and we shouldn't envy them.

Yeah, if there were never an original frozen I would have liked it too. When it comes to new songs I'm all in. But this project somehow diminished the magic of the original for me. Anyway, I'll choose to like it too if it blows up somehow. She should work with him for new original releases though, he seems promising. And I think she will respect her own vocals and verses a bit more for the frozen duet she is planning cause Sickick didn't.

I'd rather have the Swae Lee version hold more of the original magic of the song. The tik tok remix was good for what it was but it's not a good song no matter who she features on it.

One thing I love about her is that she is one of the few artists to actually bring most of her features into the same studio. The energy hits different. Then you see Megan Thee Stallion for example at the Grammys getting an award with Beyonce and it's obvious that they meet there for the first time despite scoring a no.1 remix together.

I agree on it being boring and overrated as a song but she didn't look bored singing it. I loved her live. She looked like she was actually making an effort vocally unlike most of her lives and sometimes she even fell on her knees for it. Which is something that Madonna always does but you can't say she looks bored doing so lol

I feel more comfortable putting her among artists rather than mere pop stars when I see her as a whole. She has made people think and doubt whilst pop stars only make people dance or be horny.

You haven't seen the Taylor Swift fandom and it shows They are notorious for counting the steps of stairs she posts and holes on fences to guess when the new thing is coming. Good thing Madonna fans actually have a life and not so much free time.
