  1. Maybe she's just been very busy and stressed over her Pride appearance? She sure isn't the type to stand back and wait for solid facts, we know that. Her research is often a bit on the surface. Maybe she'll post a free Britney story in the next few days. But I still don't think it's necessary. I don't know if raising awareness can help Brit at this point.
  2. You're turning this whole thing into something more serious than it was intended to be, like it was a Coachella performance or something. All I kept of this is that she has taken the first steps towards becoming fully mobile again and that she served some looks. Pride isn't only about having a dick and loving another dick, it's being proud of who you are and who you have become in your life. This was just a little intimate thank you to the community. One that's forever spiteful I guess after all the hatred it's received.
  3. It's the song I avoid returning to but once I do it's kinda rewarding. It is mostly the slow burning first minutes of the song that torture me, after that it gets better. Definitely not the best on the album or from her later career. If I want to revisit her 90's tunes with a modern twist, I'd rather listen to Best Night instead.
  4. Quite a few of last year's songs actually. Lady Gaga's Babylon of course, Only Love by Katy Perry which is the cheesy cute kind that M often does lately. Oh and Telepatía by Kali Uchis would have fit so nicely on Madame X.
  5. That is equally disturbing as David is probably 15 now. Boy would look good on Rocco or Lourdes tho That is something I can ship.
  6. That's nothing. She also forgets she is the best selling woman in history sometimes. Anyway, I believe she must upload one song performance from the tour during this month or the next on YT. To keep people interested.
  7. I remember that for the longest time as a fan, till last year probably, I somehow thought her father was dead and that she hated him since her Oh Father days Good to see I was wrong. Maybe she'll write a third song about Father one day.
  8. Revolver is a great workout jam. I love when she says I line em up and watch em fall. But sure, coming from Madonna, you'd expect something a little more mature at least lyrically. I mean of course it would become a hit in Italy, for some magical reason everything she does gets certified there. But I think Celebration doesn't compare. For me it is the Holiday of her third decade in music. I love Revolver but brilliant might be an exaggeration
  9. No need to spread hate, man. I saw no one struggling. The LGBT world has been blessed to have both
  10. Madonna is often dismissed as a lyricist, even by her fans. All that you said make sense, it is a political song. She could have written an entirely different track about gun control, something like Intervention for example, but the lyrics are almost incoherent, the beat is distracting. There is a certain intention to hide messages in this song. She has spoken many times about violence and racism and such phenomena. They all stem from fear and insecurity and manipulation of the masses. Even God's name I think is not just to remind us of guns. I believe she addresses the loss of faith. People have lost faith in things and they take matters into their own hands. Just in the wrong way, because they wake up and choose violence, they don't act together. So maybe this is a call to bring people together and remind them of the true 'enemy' who thrives when people are put apart by fear.
  11. It's one of her most interesting interviews, wtf guys? I am now convinced there is a weak sense of humour here. An interviewer should never be so sensitive and those watching Madonna shouldn't be either.
  12. Connection issues, sorry ? Won't speak again, I'm embarrassed now
  13. It's much more prominent now than it was back in 2005 when Hip Hop and RnB ruled the charts. Also, after Dua Lipa made Future Nostalgia as a tribute to Madonna's COADF, it would be weird if M made a similar record. I'm sure she'd do something hot with the genre but sometimes people need no reason to attack her of being late and irrelevant.

  17. Yeah, Madonna wasn't going to show up so I wouldn't have chosen her either lol. Maybe the UK hates her too idk. And of course Global Icon by the Brits is about two or three English speaking countries only, let's not pretend that those countries recognize the rest of the world unless they need money or vacation. I think M gives worth to such shows but only with her performances of own songs where even kids take notice, not her speeches. And one of the reasons their ratings are lower than ever is the mediocrity of their performers. So don't worry, her time will come again. She would laugh about it, not cry about the missed statue.
  18. Can we really trust that the same woman who doesn't record a single note without posting about it, now has a whole new album getting ready for release? Sounds really implausible. I think the only times she's been silent about something is featurings in other people's songs and live performance preparations. I believe that when she does make any new song, there will be no insider needed and everyone will know.
  19. Just Madonna discovering how people like it on Instagram, tripling her average likes per photo and having a blast out of it, without having to be weird for the sake of it. Music might follow suit in the exact same way.
  20. I'm concerned that, by the time she makes that new record, all this current disco frenzy will be over and fans will complain that she has been late at the trend once again. I trust her as of late with making some fresh sounding tunes and I'm sure she'll do the same with the next album, as long as she doesn't overproduce herself again.
  21. She doesn't, because she's talking about a guitar not a camera. So exciting to see her inspired
  22. Am I the only one that kinda gets let down when something so great doesn't come straight from her and her close songwriters? She's smart enough to use all the elements but I would have loved it if Sky Fits Heaven and Ray of Light lyrics had been birthed by her.
  23. I wonder if this video inspired her new look or Snoop just saw her and asked her to film herself smoking looking like that. Is the footage new or had she uploaded it already on Instagram as a story? Damn, more than half the comments are about her!
  24. For the first time in ages it appears like Madonna is fully behind the persona(s) she is portraying for this era and also fully supportive of the record they are represented by. Maybe she believes it's the truly impactful record she wanted to make, after her revolution of love with Rebel Heart didn't turn out so clear and rebellious. Quite refreshing to see
