Who said I don't understand the deal? I just don't like the way it's developed so far, it's disappointing, messy, confusing and lazy. Very little has been achieved in almost 3 years. I think we are respectful here - no one is insulting anyone it’s just a frustrating topic I think - there are some like I said before who are happy whatever she throws at us whereas others like me who are very disappointed so far - she will never please everyone at the end of the day I know this - even if they eventually announce an expanded album release there will still be people unsatisfied- she really should include the fans input though in to what we expect as a bare minimum but it will never happen - as a fan for many decades I would just like something definite that mirrors the Prince legacy releases which to me have the set bar high. Plus I would also like her amazing videography treated with better care rather than these lazy AI upscales 🥹

People on here seem to also forget this campaign has mostly been for vinyl lovers  too so in my mind it’s not catering to all fans - don’t see why some of these couldn’t have been released on cd too - surely it’s cheaper

There seems to be 2 kinds of fans of this campaign - ones who are happy with any scraps she gives us( same old tired vinyl repacked and repackaged - ONE compilation of stuff we have had for decades ) then fans like me who want something unreleased from her archives which mean a surprise - something not seen or heard befure and put in a nice box set - I don’t know why that’s so hard for people on here to swallow or see our frustration? Maybe it’s a generation thing …

None of the above. I'm only expressing an opinion, and I think that being a fan since 1985 entitles me to.  Which are the "releases" you mention? Could you please list them? I'm leaving out digital releases, which are random and sparse anyway, with absolutely no cohesion or a specific order. There's no campaign either, or marketing plan. No album was remastered, there were no reissues or expanded editions in physical format of any of them. So, I don't think this Warner thing came to fruition so far. The word I'd use is "confusing".

Really, she cannot personally curate an album of existing material while on tour?  She has two hours every night when she starts the show late.  

I find it bizarre they didn't capitalise on her debut last summer like re release it with demos and songs remastered from that recording time and push for it to get to number 1 finally

I get that there's a thin line when it comes to critiquing an artists work and the actual person and sometimes it may sound like people are attacking an artist personally, but lets refrain from attacking members personally, especially in such a nasty way. 

Every time we get another excuse (speculations or not):
*She was focused on writing her movie biographic;
*Frozen remix went viral and she changed her mind and released FEL
*She released more remixes later and was focused on them too;
*Her healthy problems in june and recovering in july (to justify why First Album was not re-released then as if she would promote it in any way);
*now she's busy with her tour;
*then she will be busy editing her new tour footage for 2 years;
*then release a new album;
*then making another movie project/tour and the list goes on.
I can't understand why Warner released a press 2 years and a half ago about the expanded landmark albums and so far none have been released. Other artists do this all the time (especially Rhino projects) and we know that the artist/band collaborates but does not create the project. We all know Madonna and she doesn't really care about her past projects. Celebration Tour is just an exception.
Let's see, another excuse: one of the albuns could be released in the end of the next year when she finishes a rumoured second leg of the tour. 
And 3 or more coloured vinlys will be on the way for vinyls collectors with the same content #soon.

i would love to know how much this "deal" was worth in the end and what was actually discussed in terms of what would be released along the line - i understand in M wanting final say but surely this deal was mostly for the fans who have supported her over the years by giving us something back in terms of unreleased material - i get that she wants to obtain new fans but lets be honest - most tweens and below really arent going to show that much interest in a 65 year old artist - so who does that leave to please ? US surely ? i just dont understand why its taking so long to get ONE expanded release out  - and if someone mentions FEL and those other pointless vinyl reissues and hologram sleeves - jog on - they were nothing special ....nor anything we havent heard before...

Been a fan of George for longer than I have of of Madonna... but to be honest I do not give a crap about his opinion about anyone ;) he is just talking about her.. because he knows it creates attention (He has a new book out)... it is with him as with anyone else... nothing creates as much attention and to a certain degree power... as negativity.

I think it’s pretty clear no reissues are coming so it’s just better to let it go. Just enjoy the single uploads to streaming :(
