  1. Yes! It should be talked about more. I love the very RnB/90's feel of it. I think that a lot more people would like it if they actually heard about it and took the time to listen. It's amazing!
  2. My favorites would have to be Madame X the mother and Madame X the cha cha instructor.
  3. This sounds amazing! What a great concept. Shakespeare + Madonna = something I would definitely want to see! Maybe this idea might catch on and we might see it again elsewhere? Hopefully!
  4. How can I choose? They're both amazing and they're both very infectious dance songs. I love them so much, but I'm going to say Hung Up, just because it was the first Madonna song I fell in love with when I was younger and it has a personal connection for me.
  5. I've always found Madonna's mentions of astrology to be pretty cool. I don't think there's any harm in it. If you like it, awesome. If you don't, that's great, too. Personally, I think there's some truth to it.
  6. Here are some that I have found interesting over the years: Take A Bow was written about an actor Madonna knew (fans often speculate which one). Love Tried to Welcome Me was apparently inspired by a stripper Madonna met. Forbidden Love was supposed to be the last single, but it was scrapped and released on Something to Remember instead. A lot of Madonna's looks from this era were noted to be quite similar to Jean Harlow. Madonna was extremely nervous performing Take A Bow live at the AMAs. The song was never included in any of her tours until Rebel Heart in 2016. The Human Nature music video was inspired by the art of Eric Stanton. The Chihuahua that appears in the music video was Madonna's dog, Chiquita. Bedtime Stories was supposed to have a tour, but Madonna decided she wanted to focus her energy into her role in the Evita film. This special from the filming of Take A Bow gives a lot of interesting info:
  7. I can't entirely remember, but I think it was a song from Erotica because that's the first full album I listened to of hers. I think that it was probably Waiting. I had been a casual fan before, but the Erotica album really made me fall in love with her and made me want to listen to more of her albums fully.
  8. Oh my goshhhh. How can I choose? On a personal level, they both mean a lot to me and have helped me through a lot. But, I'm going to say Take A Bow. I think that it definitely had a better music video, and overall, it's just a little bit above Playground.
  9. I would consider them to both be Madonna's most iconic song. I feel like whenever I mention her to someone that's not a fan, they think of either one. Where I live, every time there's a Madonna song on the radio, it's Like A Prayer. And, whenever someone wants to do Madonna for karaoke, they pick Like A Virgin. They're both very well known, successful, controversial, signature songs. I also feel like, in the eyes of the general public, 80's Madonna is the most iconic Madonna (ageism is a factor in that choice, but that's a debate for another time). It's a tie for me.
  10. My top 5 (in no particular order): Swim Gone Nothing Really Matters Love Tried to Welcome Me Paradise (Not For Me)
  11. My favorites are: -Causing a Commotion -Hung Up -Music -Fever -Vogue -Sorry -Medellin
  12. When I listen to Bedtime Stories on vinyl and I get to Take A Bow, I honestly get shivers. The last lyric "Say goodbye" gets me every time because it's like the perfect way to end "the story" she's telling me through the album. It's just so beautiful. Not to mention that the instrumental used for it is so melancholy and amazing. There is no better ending to an album.
  13. My unpopular opinions: -I actually like most of her movies and I don't think her acting is *that* bad all the time. She deserved an Oscar nomination for Evita. -I love the song Little Star. -Hard Candy isn't that bad. -Bedtime Stories is one of her best albums. Secret is one of her best music videos. -Like A Prayer's title track is great, but the rest of the album is -I LOVE her children's books. They were a big part of my childhood and my introduction to Madonna. -The 90's and 2000's were her best decades artistically. I don't listen to her 80's music very much, although I do have a few songs that I really like. -She is always beautiful! There may be some looks of hers that others don't like, but I basically love and appreciate them all.
  14. I really love Re-Invention and Drowned World. I find them both to be very creative and interesting artistically. I like the looks, the setlists, the themes and the different acts. The only thing that bothers me about Drowned World would be the Funny Song/some of the more graphic parts.
  15. I love this question! Here are mine: M always has the best tour looks!
  16. I'm so excited! I wish her the best of luck.
  17. I really love her tourbooks. They're gorgeous. This is a bit upsetting. Hopefully it's just a rumor.
  18. I had never thought about Kate Winslet before in that context, but now I really see the resemblance. Sharon Stone does look a bit like her, too!
  19. The makeup line looks amazing. I wish it was released online as well. :(
  20. I think this is a great idea! It's so much better to enjoy something without having to worry about taking pictures or videos. The audience will be able to fully indulge in this new tour experience. Also, I do hope she is having it professionally recorded and that she releases it in some form.
