I just received a corrected email with an actual code 1 hour and 20 mins after tickets went on sale. An absolute fuck up.

Sooo, I got the email last night... mine was missing a code. I thought it was because it would not be needed, but when checking today Ticketmaster asks for a code. Complete fail! Luckily I can't actually go on the rescheduled date, so it's not blocking me from getting tickets I want - but fans shouldn't have to experience these technical fails when trying to buy tickets. The email I received:

Yes, you would think they would refund everyone BEFORE the rescheduled onsales for the cancelled shows, but that would make too much sense. I saw my refund PENDING on my credit card on Friday, but it has not posted yet for the cancelled NYC date.

Aside from all of the nonsense... As serious as this is, she and the tour will of course do whatever they feel is best for her and her health - we just have to wait and see. That being said... it would be so strong, powerful and symbolic to start the tour with the NYC dates at the end of August. That would be so poetic! Kicking off in NYC! That has never happened before.

Mine's stored away - but here are pictures of the REAL one. Non-leather book w/ rivets in corners, Leather straps that CONNECT in the center at the back. When you hold/see it, it is clearly not made by hand. Love the box set - they planned a real Limited Edition at the time (black faux leather book with real leather straps, I have one of the real test productions) - but it was cancelled! There were a bunch of counterfeits years ago (with a real leather book - because they were making fakes off of pictures of the few real ones).

The VIP ticket cost was an upcharge of $500 vs the seat price. Ex. the $500 price tickets if you bought a VIP package in the exact same row it was $995 - and this book is really the only perk of VIP - so $200 is a bargain. Since I had 2 VIP tickets, in my mind I spent $1000 on 2 books.
