after MUCH hunting online
I finally found the Cher Show episode I'd been - you will need to buy it - looking for.
and guess what
the last medley of tunes on it is 'truncated' 

 

The Shoop Shoop Song was like Chain Reaction basically.
It was everywhere in the UK.
the guy who produced Young Americans had to do special mixes for the Cher Show
he'd found the backing tracks again recently
yes it sounds like a seance

 

i dunno why she isn't onto Volume 3 of the Bowie Songbook by now

there was only 2/3 gay clubs in Glasgow at the time centrally-ish
this place was in the 'other' direction
One of the  'auld shyte' was Cher's Skin Deep.
this was b4 her Believe reincarnation

goths punks and the occasional drag queen
some of whom worked there

the movie was in cinemas
the videos on telly were v brief
all 'ye had to look at for months was the single cover

this is the version Kim Wilde "heard in a club"
I resold quite a few copies on the strength of

yet spoke about tape boxes marked 'DO NOT USE'

i seriously doubt it
listened to a supposed 24 bit version of one LP and you could hear clicks on it - like off a record

they were 'remastered' from previous CD releases.......
