  2. @@me1981 If I remember correctly, Spotlight and Work Your Fingers to the Bone were both written during the time she was writing with Stephen Bray for "True Blue." Although I am not sure "Fingers" was meant for the album. Bray confirmed writing "Working My Fingers To The Bone" with Madonna but was never registered with the Library of Congress. He was asked if this was an early version of "Where's The Party" since that song features a similar theme, and he replied "No, that concept was already worked out with Pat Leonard, and then I was brought in to help finish it." Bray does have a tape of Madonna singing "Working My Fingers To The Bone", but it has never been released in any form. Bray planned to release this song on his own along with a few other demos from over the years on a "Pre-Madonna 2," but wasn't permitted to do so.
  3. Bits and pieces were revealed in articles and interviews in 1985 but it wasn't until Jellybean posted this photo that it was confirmed.
  4. I don't know if anyone commented on this one yet but all of this information is incorrect. This photo was taken on September 12, 1984 right before Like a Virgin was to be released. The event was Dallas Boesendahl's party for the movie Amadeus at the Limelight nightclub in NYC.
  5. Thanks for sharing. While I am sure this might be true, we truly don't know. "Those in her inner circle have acknowledged" this - I don't think this constitutes a fact though.
