  1. I agree with this. Imo it was just reworked into a mid-tempo dance songs because the album lacks any sort of dance tracks and that's why so many ppl seem to like it. For me, this version sucked the life out of the song, although it's slightly growing on me. However, I think it doesn't suit the lyrics at all and it sounds out of place on the album which is why I'm glad it's only a bonus track. Graffiti Heart on the other hand got the punch it needed. It's very uplifiting, cheeky and suits the song very well.
  2. I guess you're in the minority on that one, my dear. TBH I don't get any of the "the demo was better" whining. I think the album is fantastic, even if some of the tracks may not be as good as some of the demos. I think the majority of people will LOVE this album. The production is fanatstic and so is the songwriting. So many great and memorable melodies and great hooks. I know it's bad and I regret downloading the album but this was the best birthday present EVER! I'm still praying that they tracklist is going to change. It has no flow whatsoever. I for once have found my way of ordering the tracks and I can only recommend listen to it that way for the perfect album experience! 1. Illuminati 2. Bitch, I'm Madonna 3. Best Night 4. S.E.X. 5. Holy Water 6. Inside Out 7. Unapologetic Bitch 8. Iconic 9. Veni Vidi Vici 10. Living for Love 11. Joan of Arc 12. Body Shop 13. Devil Pray 14. Hold Tight 15. Ghosttown 16. HeartBreakCity 17. Messiah 18. Wash All Over Me 19. Rebel Heart 20. Queen 21. Borrowed Time 22. Grafitti Heart 23. Beautiful Scars 24. Autotune Baby 25. Addicted I think the songs that improved the most from their demo versions are S.E.X., Holy Water, Body Shop, HeartBreakCity, Borrowed Time, Grafitti Heart & Wash All Over Me. I think those songs have surpassed their demos to a great extend and sounds absoulteley brilliant now. I like the demo of S.E.X. about as much as the final version I think. Holy Water is like 30000x better than the demo but I expected nothing less. Body Shop was a beautiful song even in its demo stage. The subtle touch-up has improved the song to a great extend and I'm actually very surprised at the fact that this song is labled as explicit and that only a few changes made this song so much better. HeartBreakCity is now utter perfection. All it needed was a bit of a punch and that's exactly what it got. Wash All Over Me never really worked as a dance track imo. It just sounded wrong like most of Avicii's production which was literally lifted from one of a few of his own tracks. This version is an anthem and it just beautiful! I can totally see her performing this at Live Earth. Borrowed Time was always a great track and the new mix just gave it the bit of edge it needed! Fucking love it...too bad there wasn't enough room on the album left to include it. Graffiti Heart is now extremely uplifiting, just how it should be! It really makes you feel like you could conquer the world, very Ray of Light-esque. I'm glad Best Night stayed the way it is. It really didn't need any additional work. Inside Out on the other hand I'm not so sure about. I loved the guitar during the chorus so much. It's much darker now but it sounds kind of hollow...and the "one more time" is annoying. Veni Vidi Vici was always an okay track for me. I don't think it needed any more work done to it and so did M apparently. I don't really like Nas' contribution to the track, especially the intro seems kind of awkward. Hold Tight is just as good as the demo imo, slight improvement but it was a great track right from the start. Rebel Heart is a great song, it really is. I think it's quite overrated, however, especially the demo version. I'm glad there is no Avicii on it, but the fact that it's all folk now makes it look a bit filler-ish tbh. It didn't take away from the great melody and lyrics though. Iconic's second demo was one of my favourite tracks and this version is about as good, I think. I think it still needs to grow on me a bit but I really like it so far. Messiah was never one of my favourite tracks. I wanted it on the album because I can see a lot of people liking it and it certainly belongs on the album. I'm kind of sad the song never really clicked with me. Who knows...maybe after a few more listens it will! ;) Addicted was my favourite demo of the first bunch but once we got all the other stuff I rarely listened to it. I like the new version but I wish it would've been completely redone. I think it could've improved with new production but it's still good the way it is now. Autotune Baby is okay, good enough as a bonus track but definitely not album material. Queen is a nice bonus track as well, but I don't really care for it. Beautiful Scars has been ruined! This version literally makes the whole songseem like some cheap mash-up. The lyrics don't suit the production and vice-versa. This remake was unnecessary. The same goes for Joan of Arc. Making this song an semi-uptempo song is hideous. The song was cute but kind of boring in its demo form but now it's really just forgettable. Both songs are still good. It's not like they're horrible or anything but they have been slightly downgraded. All in all this album might be her best effort since COADF. It's everything I wanted for this album and more! ALL OF THE SONGS I WANTED ON THERE ACTUALLY MADE IT! There are 0 bad songs, no real fillers! The album is diverse, yet pretty cohesive and current-sounding. It's a great mix of classic Madonna melodies and current/fresh production. Just like how a Madonna album should sound like. If this doesn't win anything, then there's clearly something wrong with the world!
  3. It would've been so great in the Transgression seection of MDNAT!
  4. I'm 100% sure about Everybody, Nothing Really Matters, Don't Tell Me and Take a Bow.
  5. ANCIENT EGYPT [*] Illuminati* [*] Everybody / Vogue [*] Bitch, I'm Madonna* [*] Unapologetic Bitch* [*] Give It 2 Me SEX [*] Best Night* – Interlude [*] S.E.X.* / Erotica [*] Holy Water* [*] Physical Attraction [*] HeartBreakCity* [*] Sorry / Express Yourself JOAN OF ARC [*] Iconic* – Interlude [*] Hold Tight* [*] Joan of Arc* [*] Ghosttown* [*] Inside Out* [*] Messiah* + Outro FOLK [*] Frozen / Secret [*] Take a Bow [*] Don't Tell Me / Hollywood [*] Rebel Heart* [*] Veni Vidi Vici* – Interlude BAPTISM [*] Devil Pray* [*] Wash All Over Me* [*] Nothing Really Matters [*] Living for Love* Something like this...
  6. The tour will most likely start in late 2015 or early 2016, which makes sense if she actually opens the show in Australia (it's spring/summer there during that time). Guy O said that 2015 is reserved for album promo so I'm assuming she will tour November/December 2015 at the earliest.
  7. In Germany too. The 14-track version comes out on March 6th and the 19-track version on March 10th.
  8. Rocco slays. I love how her two kids look EXACTLY like her and also share a lot of qualities of their mom.
  9. They would have to remove 50% of Unapologetic Bitch...Or they could pull a Gaga and replace the word "bitch" with "bit**" :lmao: I Fucked Up. Seriously the leak pretty much fucked up a well organized promo plan and the tracklisting. However, without it I bet there would be less hype but more of a "surprise factor" and we'd probably not be on this forum or talk about some inimportant crap, maybe still speculate which hashtags of her gonna be actual songs hahahaha
  10. A clean version of the standard would simply be a 9-track EP. WHAT A MESS! Can't they just re-arrange the tracklisting how M has evisioned it? You know the two sides seperate but on one disc? Does she know she can still do that because I don't think she does...someone should enlighten her. That way they could simply reduce it to two main versions of the album. Explicit (19-track version) and Clean (14-track version, with VVV still in but with an edited rap).
  11. A+++++ Exactly what I've been saying today. I'm just really worried about people moaning about how the final versions are not like the demos they loved so much, because that's what usually happenes when people get too used to the demos.
  12. It will be more cohesive than you think. There are two main genres and production styles present on this album: One half of the song is very Urban/Hip-Hop/Dancehall the other half is more orchestral/industrial/organic sounding.
  13. They're not going to sound that similar...all of Avicii's typical sounds have been removed. In fact, only 3 of all the songs she wrote with him made it onto the album. She hired him because she liked his music, but I assume she wasn't satisfied with the result because a lot of it ended up sounding pretty much the same and not really very different from what she had done before. Apart from that she wasn't able to work with him any further due to his health problems. She then reached out to Diplo who she seemed to have a better working relationship with and from then on the album went into a completely different direction that clashed with Avicii's production a lot.
  14. Because Madonna wanted to make the album sound more cohesive and less "dated". She hired producers she thought were more envelope-pushing and edgy to rework his and many of the other songs. Avicii may be more radio-friendly but I'd rather have Madonna being innovative and edgy again rather than bandwaggon-jumping like she did on her past albums. Of course, I loved them but you can tell she wasn't really going for something new and exciting. It seems like the album is going into a more urban/industrial direction and less EDM/folk.
  15. I'm 100% sure that there are no traces of Avicci's production left. He will only be credited as writer, not producer. All of his tracks have been reworked. Wash All Over Me and Rebel Heart probably sound much better now, especially if they are close to their acoustic versions as it's rumoured.
  16. Not sure but apparently it's like the acoustic demo + additional percussions, very folky overall. I hope the FINAL tracklist will end up looking like this: [*]Illuminati [*]Bitch, I'm Madonna [Explicit Edition only] [*]Best Night [*]Body Shop [Explicit Edition only] [*]S.E.X. [*]Holy Water [Explicit Edition only] [*]Unapologetic Bitch [Explicit Edition only] [*]Iconic [*]Veni Vidi Vici (featuring Nas) [rap is being censored, therefore it can remain on the standard version] [*]Living for Love [*]Joan of Arc [*]Devil Pray [*]Hold Tight [*]Ghosttown [*]Inside Out [*]Messiah [*]HeartBreakCity [Explicit Edition only] [*]Wash All Over Me [*]Rebel Heart [*]Beautiful Scars [Deluxe Edition only] [*]Queen [Deluxe Edition only] [*]Borrowed Time [Deluxe Edition only] [*]Autotune Baby [Deluxe Edition only] [*]Graffiti Heart [Deluxe Edition only] [*]Addicted [Deluxe Edition only] Tracks 1-9 = Rebel songs Tracks 10-18 = Heart songs Track 19 = Rebel Heart, which serves as an epilogue
  17. Okay based on the demos: 1. Illuminati 2. Everybody / Vogue (Medley-Mashup, remixed by Diplo) 3. Bitch, I'm Madonna 4. Unapologetic Bitch 5. Give It 2 Me 6. Best Night (Interlude) 7. Body Shop or S.E.X. 8. Holy Water 9. Physical Attraction / Erotica 10. Inside Out 11. Messiah (Interlude) 12. Ghosttown 13. HeartBreakCity 14. Sorry / Express Yourself 15. Iconic (with video outro featuring Chance and Mike Tyson) 16. Rebel Heart 17. Hollywood 18. Don't Tell Me 19. Joan of Arc 20. Take a Bow 21. Veni Vidi Vici (Interlude) 22. Devil Pray 23. Secret 24. Wash All Over Me 25. Nothing Really Matters / Nothing Fails 26. Living for Love (with samples from Like a Prayer)
  18. I pray to god that all of this gets a quick fix, sequencing included. It's not too late to change the sequencing, is it?
  19. I'm sure the 14-track version is not the standard Edition but a clean version leaving out 5 of the explicit tracks. I'm assuming the only explicit track left in will be Veni Vidi Vici but without the rap. It's the only song that I can see being editable. That 14-track version is the one that's being sold at stores like Walmart. Then there's the explicit standard version that includes all of the 19-tracks. The deluxe edition will have 25-tracks and won't be available as a clean version. That's the only possible way this would make sense. I think the French sources got a bit confused overall by all the different formats.
  20. Wanna bet that dude is (used to be) a friend of Guy Oseary?
  21. My guess for the first section:ANCIENT EGYPT:1. Illuminati2. Everybody / Vogue (Mashup-Medley, remixed by Diplo)3. Bitch, I'm Madonna4. Give It 2 Me (Version based on the Sly & Robbie Remix)5. Best Night - InterludeI think the last section will includeNothing Really MattersLiving for Loveas the final two performances, maybe LAP as well.
  22. No. But that kid KTZ is posting on all kind of Madonna forums acting like he knows it all without actually providing evidence or an actual source. This.
  23. Demo #3 is already pretty different. I can see her reworking it. I actually hope she does, it sounds pretty dated imo.
  24. Only 5? '83-'95 Physical Attraction Till Death Do Us Part Rescue Me I'll Remember Take a Bow '98-'12 Nothing Really Matters The Power of Good-Bye Amazing I'm So Stupid Intervention ...there are so many others I'd like her to perform but these are the ones I'd be most excited about I think.
  25. This whole Madonna vs. Gaga thing should have stopped a very long time ago. She honestly should stop caring so much about the younger generation and focus on HER music and HER career not on someone else's.
