  1. Ahhh yes got a bit confused there! I meant Thompson & Barbiero. I keep mixing them up. Forest & Heller did an excellent job on Everybody regardless.
  2. But they did the remixes of Over and Over & Everybody on YCD. That's all I'm saying. :D Aside from that I totally agree though. The OYH and WTG remixes were too noisy.
  3. The remix was done by Forest & Heller (not Shep Pettibone) who did the remixes for Open Your Heart and Who's That Girl
  4. My least favourite 80s album of hers. It's quite obvious the last three tracks were always gonna be b-sides/fillers. LDLHA could have been a hit and Over and Over too maybe if it wasn't for the Vision Quest soundtrack and that other obscure cover version of LDLHA creeping up the charts the same year. Angel (best) Over and Over (Into the Groove) Love Don't Live Here Anymore Dress You Up Like a Virgin Material Girl Stay Pretender Shoo-Bee-Doo (worst)
  5. from Madonna: Physical Attraction from Like a Virgin: Over and Over - instead of Gambler which should have been the b-side to Crazy for You instead. (Angel should have gotten a video) from True Blue/WTG/YCD: Where's the Party / Spotlight - instead of The Look of Love Santa Baby / Supernatural from Like a Prayer: Till Death Do Us Part - instead of Cherish Spanish Eyes - instead of Dear Jessie from Erotica: Words or Thief of Hearts - instead of Bye Bye Baby from Bedtime Story: Forbidden Love from Something to Remember: I Want You - it's a shame that Motown interfered but they should have found a compromise with them. This song HAD to be a single! Forbidden Love (if not as part of BS) - instead of One More Chance Ray of Light (if MJ and Janet release 8 singles, why can't M??): Nothing Really Matters (as third single) Swim / Sky Fits Heaven (as fifth single) Be Careful (w/ Ricky Martin) (after Beautiful Stranger) Skin (as sixth single) to promote "Veronica Electronica" Music: Amazing Impressive Instant / GHV2 Megamix - after the DWT to promote the DVD and GHV2 American Life: Intervention - instead of Nothing Fails Nobody Knows Me (Stuart Price Remix) - to promote the remix album and the tour Confessions on a Dance Floor: Forbidden Love Isaac Hard Candy (renamed to "Jawbreaker"): Beat Goes On (as second single) - instead of Give It 2 Me Devil Wouldn't Recognize You (as third single) Miles Away - as final single MDNA: Masterpiece (as single from W./E.) Girl Gone Wild (first single) I'm Addicted (second single) Gang Bang / Beautiful Killer (third single) Falling Free (Remix) (fourth single) Rebel Heart: Living for Love (first single) Devil Pray (second single) Ghosttown (third single) Bitch, I'm Madonna (fourth single)
  6. Lmaooo don't bother with @Lucifer's Angely'all. He's been on FOTP too and has been doing hardcore propaganda to "prove" Bitch, I'm Madonna's non-existing impact. He won't accept any other opinion. Just ignore him.
  7. I'm so surprised no one snatched this username before I could do it lol.

  8. Honestly, I'm all here for parodies but this one is just downright ageist and shameful. Bitch, I'm Madonna is cheesy but it was most definitely a way better "pure pop" song than Give Me All Your Luvin' which ironically felt more like a self-parody than this song which no one should take seriously to begin with. Oh and I wholeheartedly agree that, while I like Ghosttown, it's a VERY forgettable single.
  9. It was fake footage, dude. I remember exactly the clip you are talking about. THIS is the mix they put added to a clip from the MDNA Tour rehearsals pretending it was from the Rebel Heart Tour. It was fake.
  10. No. That Borderline version was fake as well. It was never rehearsed nor considered. That Vogue version was in fact a remix done by Bit Error:
  11. Wouldn't that have replaced the Justify My Love though? I wouldn't want to miss that. Personally, I wasn't feeling Masterpiece or Like a Virgin that much. I wouldn't mind either being replaced by Falling Free and/or Love Spent.
  12. Devil was a song she wrote and recorded for the Hello Suckers! Musical she was working on at that time. It probably had a similar vibe as the slow/jazzy version of Deeper and Deeper that ended up replacing it. Yeah. That one was created during the rehearsals for the show but it's not clear whether it was actually ever considered as part of the setlist. Amazing. Warner wanted to release that as a single with a video cut from the live performance. Madonna wanted Impressive Instant and that led to a dispute. Madonna was a fucking savage back then and going through menopause. You can tell she was non-stop pissed from 2001-2003 and suffering from hot flashes. Anywho...she sabotaged Amazing's single release and she sabotaged GHV2 which she felt was a stupid project. Funnily enough, she would end up treating songs she wanted as singles (that her label didn't let her release) as if they were singles. Prime example: Candy Shop and Impressive Instant (which was gong to be performed on the S&ST).
  13. There were a whole bunch of songs prepared for RIT that never saw the light of day: Take a Bow Ray of Light Swim Nothing Really Matters Live to Tell Dress You Up an early ballad version of Devil Wouldn't Recognize You I'm So Stupid Love Profusion (Headcleanr Mix)
  14. Good guesses, but no. Hint: The image refers to a line in the song but it's not too literal. It's the first line of the song's chorus, actually.
  15. No to all. I have to admit it's kind of hard, though... It's a released song but a non-album track.
  16. Burning Up (honorable mentions go out to Gambler & Over and Over) Justify My Love Die Another Day Gang Bang ...one from every decade
  17. Y'all better fucking stop it with the Living for Love hate. Most of y'all are just pressed it wasn't some generic Avicii garbage like his Rebel Heart demo. Living for Love was a great lead single but a rushed one and the video was absolutely boring. A warrior queen/Jeanne D'arc video would have been more fitting and amazing. The song that was truly a career killer was GMAYL. She had the UK kissing her feet until she released that garbage. The lead single clearly should have been Girl Gone Wild as bland as it is...it was the catchiest tune on the album and a Superbowl performance would have been totally EPIC I mean imagine this setlist: Vogue Music Open Your Heart / Express Yourself Girl Gone Wild Like a Prayer FUCKING AMAZING! Anyway, Girl Gone Wild should then have been followed up by an equally strong second single: I'm Addicted. That would have been followed up a dual single Gang Bang / Beautiful Killer with a short film and then she could have closed the era with Falling Free (with the Ferry Corsten Remix being sent to radio). The MDNA era and the laziness of the Hard Candy and Confessions eras were what sort of killed her momentum after Ray of Light/Music.
  18. Santa Baby / Supernatural was planned as a single in 1988? Wow that was truly a missed opportunity! :wide-eyes:https://www.discogs.com/de/santa-baby/release/12443212

Pat Leonard replied to me that he "thinks so" when I asked him if Supernatural was recorded during the LAP sessions.  Then he gave me an upward eye emoji which I'm not sure the meaning behind.  At least he was kind enough to respond!
