That's the vibe I'm getting.  Makes sense.  The anniversary of the 2nd single release is coming up in March.  I can see another RHINO release for Record Store Day in April 2023, possibly for Burning Up.  The re-issue  campaign has just only begun.  Possibly another Record Store Day Release in November 2023 for Holiday?  This has only just gotten started.  I'll be curious if Ray of Light album and it's singles will get an anniversary release as well being it's the 25th Anniversary.  If I recall @GregVsMattstated the next year has a lot in store for us.  He's been spot on every time.  I'm excited!

lol if you seriously believe madonna is running things by a slightly deluded australian stan you'll believe anything

here you go, 2023 is gonna be a huge year for fans, you're gonna love it, we've got some surprises lined up, yadda yadda yadda

I like the cover by Aldo Diaz. It's also perfectly adequate for a trending song from TikTok.
But when it comes to huge projects like "Finally Enough Love" or real singles, a professional graphic designer like Mr. Brainwash (designer of Celebration Album) or Kevin Reagan (designer of Music Album, Hollywood Single, GHV2...) would be a much better choice (in my opinion).

Mr Brainwash was cool for the Celebration cover but it all looks the same.

I don't get the point of sped up version or slowed down version either. But it seems that people nowadays (on tiktok) are really into this kind of songs. Some artists now even put out sped up or slowed down versions separately as singles.

I can understand if they are used for a tiktok video, but listening to them on a daily basis is weird to me. I think these versions kind of ruin the original music and how the song is supposed to sound. Gaga's recent hit "Bloody Mary" is another example of this.

We can instantly triple our Madonna collections by having a sped up and slowed down version. What's not too love? If sped up tracks are so big maybe the Tour will feature her entire catalogue in about an hour.

Well, for those who said Madonna wasn't interested to be a part of a charity song, I think they didn't watch what Nile said about that.

It's interesting that he'd even have a response to a question about the situation if (as a few members on here seem convinced) it was never even a thing. My take for what it's worth is that back then several established artists felt threatened by the sudden explosion in popularity for an artist who dared to do things differently and a woman who wasn't apologetic about using sex to sell her music. She was provocative in a way they couldn't compete. I mean how difficult would it be to add another singer into the lineup? lol

Not true darling... you do your math. Record company will stop/remove the song when it's out already. Who cares about that person to really go after them asking not to leak the song? Obviously they're just trolling around.

Also if I have the intention to leak something I won't for sure do a promo coming soon thing lol...

Agreed, plus at this point in her career I'm pretty sure Warner couldn't give two fecks about what old tracks leak

She wasn't a megastar yet, so they probably didn't even consider her. That'd be like asking Dua Lipa right when New Rules became a hit, not realizing how major her career would be shortly after. Madonna was too new to the scene.

She was intentionally blocked, Nile Rodgers explicitly talks about how awkward it was in the interview.
