  1. Can you imagine if the song was swapped with Girl Gone Wild? With Kazaky dancing behind her in the glitter heels? The gays would've ate it up and the opposition would've been outraged. It would been so on brand for her, haha!
  2. Fair enough, I don't hate the song, I just think as far as singles choices are concerned, it was abysmal choice. It just felt hokey and manufactured to my ear. But hey, that's life. Some people will love it, some will hate it. I respect your opinion though :-)
  3. I think Girl Gone Wild would've been a good first single because commercially it would be something the fans would come to love for it's catchy tune and cunty choreography as well as the religious undertones with the act of contrition. The music video really set the tone for a lot of the MDNA tour and style that was to come. Gang Bang is a great display of what ignited the album because it's definitely a revenge fantasy and all the emotions that come with it. Coming off her divorce, it seems fitting where her head was at in the studio. The reason I like I'm a Sinner is that it showcases two sides of Madge. The first being a hippie, peace and love image and the other being the religious side. I think a lot of people slept on it because of how much they seem to detest this era.
  4. I 100% agree, Give Me All Your Luvin' was an abysmal choice of a single. It was clearly a management choice to try to get as much promo out of featuring Nicki and M.I.A. as possible. I hate collaborations that just feel like a business deal. I think Girl Gone Wild was a good single choice, very commercial, catchy and very Madge. Gang Bang would've been my second single choice and I would've followed it up with I'm Addicted. I mean the whole album was a triple entendre involving drugs, why not capitalize on its schtick with a song that's reminiscent of it? I mean she literally says MDNA in the song. Turn Up the Radio was also very odd choice to me as far as singles go. I don't find the song bad but I didn't see that as a stand out either. My personal choices would've been: 1. Girl Gone Wild 2. Gang Bang 3. I'm Addicted 4. I'm a Sinner
  5. I quite loved Girl Gone Wild, it was a little too commercial and safe, but I enjoyed it. The choreography was awesome, the video was awesome, the tour performance was great, I just think it was too safe. When we were used to Madonna being ahead of the curve, MDNA was more of a "What the kids are listening to" kind of album. I actually quite like it but will admit there was very little about it that was ahead of the curve. But on the other hand I think Madame X was very experimental and different but I didn't take to really any of it. Sometimes it's better to be safe, sometimes it's better to experiment. The best we can do is just enjoy what we enjoy <3
  6. Can you imagine if we actually got the Quentin Tarantino music video Madge wanted for Gang Bang? That would've been Fire.
  7. Finally! Someone who loves Gang Bang. I thought I was alone
  8. In chronological order, no particular order of favoritism: 01. Borderline 02. Like a Virgin 03. Dress You Up 04. Into the Groove 05. Papa Don't Preach 06. Open Your Heart 07. Like a Prayer 08. Vogue 09. Justify My Love 10. Erotica 11. Human Nature 12. Frozen 13. Music 14. Hollywood 15. Hung Up 16. Future Lovers 17. 4 Minutes (feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland) 18. Revolver (feat. Lil Wayne) 19. Girl Gone Wild 20. Gang Bang
  9. I agree, it's insane to fill a 40 Years+ Career into a 1.5 - 2 hour film. I think she should do a miniseries, perhaps each episode could be for separate eras? Now that i'd watch :-)
  10. Justify My Love (MDNA Tour Mix) Vogue (MDNA Tour Mix) Like a Virgin (Blonde Ambition Tour Mix) Future Lovers / I Feel Love (Confessions Tour Mix) Erotica / You Thrill Me (Confessions Tour Mix) Lament (Re-Invention Tour Mix) Frozen (Madame X Tour Mix)
  11. I'm so happy to hear that, thank you @Fighter and @Jackie for making this happen! And @Fighter I hope you plan to stay as a member and update us on your health and I apologize for accidentally putting @Future in my message to you. I was typing fast, from quick glance I didn't notice, (MY BAD!).
  12. This would've been my pick too! Love everything about Justify.
  13. Maybe one day we'll know.... I hope they truly remaster Human Nature. That music video just looks plain awful, even with a supposed master. So blurry.
  14. Not necessarily, they did Material Girl and it looked minimally better. If anything the contrast was a little better. I was ASTONISHED by how great Frozen looked. Like night and day compared to the original so it's not just AI Upscaling.
  15. It breaks my heart we never got a remastered Justify My Love and Erotica we got the censored release in HD. Why re-release the maxi singles and just randomly throw in a video here and there? ?
  16. Anybody else waiting for the token comparison video? :-D
  17. Well regardless of how thin she may appear, If a male artist was in the exact same position they wouldn't be asking about his weight.
  18. So she's doing interviews, going to the club to play her new record, her usual diva things and the best question they can come up with is, do you eat? (eyeroll x 1000)
  19. I agree. Though the Rebel Heart Tour was cool, the editing really took away from the experience with constant filters and slow motion edits. I definitely think Confessions was a much better blend of edits and not so over-the-top. MDNA was decent too but sometimes the editing could kill a moment.
  20. Hopefully by the time that's out she'll have more HD music videos out. In fact, I'd kill for a new greatest hits with her entire videography in HD on blu ray <3 <3 <3
  21. I mean, it's common knowledge Madonna wasn't on board with Celebration. It was the final release for her contract. If this is indeed what I think it is, I think more love will go into it since she'd be involved with it.
  22. I'm starting to suspect that this History 1983-2020 is going to be a "Madonna-approved" greatest hits album with remastered music videos and they're releasing these videos to stream on youtube one by one to start the hype. I hope it's the case because her Videography deserves this kind of love.
