Yes it's one of the best Rusical's ever. Tho they have been improving them since season 12. I think the Moulin Rouge might be the best.

What I think was the biggest wasted opportunity was the lack of tour documentary. It was easily her most controversial tour ever and would have been sublime.

I am happy to confirm pending me getting the transfer right that the forum will continue on and I will be taking over.
The community on here is important that we continue it - we may not always agree and we often have diverse opinions but that's makes life rich and being a fan so important - it's those views and having a space to discuss amongst ourselves is so important.
As is sharing amazing M moments, videos, audios, pictures and other things.
So, I'm gonna give it a crack and hope I don't fuck it up as Ru Paul often says lol

The interview was a lot more interesting to read than the Maluma one a couple weeks back. She feels so committed right now, even more than usual, to what she's trying to express. I sense that the visual autobiography will certainly come from the angle of overcoming more and more things.

I would just love for her to work with a different photographer again. Steven Klein has become just point and shoot and fix it all in post-production. Some of these shots it looks as if anyone could have taken...

Gotta love the "PLEASEEE" in Papa Don't Preach as well!

For me it's:
- The second chorus of "Open Your Heart" when she goes higher - "open your heart TO ME! Darling..."
- The final "should I wait for you" in DW/SFL
- The last bit of "Burning Up" after the groans: "you know you got me burnin' up, baby! You know you got me burnin' up, baby" - which incidentally is where she unleashes all her sexual energy in the video.

I did read the blurb but I really fail to see the over-Photoshopping as deliberate or the artistic direction of the shoot -- indeed, I would have loved that. But it's simply consistent with, well, how Madonna presents herself to the world these days, whether it be her entire Instagram, telling the VMAs not to shoot her close up, oversaturating the Madame X films, etc. I also don't see the connection with Marilyn, it's more like Mae West.

Well, a ton of fans are frustrated by her as of late and are allowed to express that here. A forum is a discussion outlet. It's not like blindly defending each and every single move of her makes someone a "better" fan. She doesn't know who a single one of us is. There's a reason these forums have much less activity than a decade ago. The smaller group left here is clearly a devoted base, but even amongst us, we're getting cynical about some of her decisions in the last few years. 
We all want to see her at the top again and be the pop star we fell in love with, but some of us, myself included, are recognizing less and less of the Madonna we fell in love with in the woman we see today. The woman who "doesn't care what others think" makes herself virtually unrecognizable in pictures she's so obviously insecure with how she looks. It's an extreme contradiction to the values she stood for in the past and that we all celebrated. That doesn't mean we need to hang it up and be a fan of someone else, nor does it mean that we need to reassert our fandom through blind affirmations of her Queendom. One can be a fan, appreciate some of her work today (e.g. the Madame X album), and still sorely miss fundamental aspects of Madonna that have seemed to disappear over the years. 

Madonna might read this and think:"mhh, so these are fan favorites right? I might include them in my next tour right after Human Nature and Candy Shop then ?"

I think it's definitely about Guy. She's friends with Sean and has never talked about him in those terms.
About all the controversy about the shoot... obviously the retouching is from an artistic angle and both of them trying new stuff. It looks like the pictures were taken with a phone and some of them later upscaled. Which makes sense cause professionally they've literally done everything possible together before, so we can't blame them for trying new things.
It's provoking, you look at the pictures and think "what?". I think this is gonna be an iconic shoot when we look back in a few years.
Also, just putting things into perspective, these kind of photoshoots are never "real". They're not meant to be real, anyway, they're meant to be as "perfect" as possible, when promoting a product:

(By the way, I remember lots of fans saying Who's that?? This is too much when the "Hung Up" single cover was revealed back in 2005, just like yesterday, so nothing new under the sun, I guess).

The interview was great, especially the last part!

Well, I love drums, so the thunderous drum solo on the vinyl version of Burning Up is one moment. (the 4,48 one)
And of course the echoed "I'm on FIRE" in the same mix.
Every year I play Who's That Girl on the first day of summer. And when the song comes to the bridge (Light up my life...) I always feel a burst of happiness and excitement. I always dance to it.
The "You do it, you take it" part of Thief Of Hearts. Her rap is so cool, and those staggering synths... Wonderful.
In the Calderone mix of Ray Of Light, after the calm part when she starts to sing softly, then stronger and stronger as the music builds up again, and then everything just explodes when she sings "And I Feel!"
On the cd of IGTTYAS, when she sings Lament and get to the line "So what use could fifty, sixty, sevenTY BE" I get goosbumps. 
I have lots of favorite moments.

I've always love when she does changes when she sings live... now I can remember the "Let me cover you from velvet kisses" of "Dress you up" on "The Virgin Tour" or when she enters a little late (intencionally) like the "I'm tired of dancing her all... by myself" of "Into the groove" in the same tour.

"And the next time you want pussy...just look in the mirror baby."

There are surely many exact moments I particularly love in her songs but that final high unreachable note in Ray of Light wins hands down!
