I'm surprised that "Madame X" is the last one. But I guess that less people got to see it live, compared to other tours.

Imagine being told in 1984 that the Gloss magazine would finally come to life in 2023! It feels surreal that the mystery is finally lifted after almost 40 years, and that the shoot is no longer exclusive to the Borderline video. I wonder why none of these photos were ever used anywhere before. It's crazy. They are instantly iconic. Was there a disagreement between the photographer, Madonna or the record company? The shoot totally captures the essence of who she was at that time, and I would go as far as to say that it does so in a better way than many photos that were used in magazines.

I remember that! They were quite expensive, even at the time. Edit: I found it on Facebook (The Madonna Collection)! It's from early 1992.

Honestly, she's the Queen of the medium, so all her singles deserved videos! I think that Rescue Me is the biggest lost opportunity. She had that post-Justify My Love, and pre-Oscars glamourous beauty. It would have been nice to have another document of that era. Nobody ever mentions Into The Groove. I always wondered what a "real" video would have looked like. This said, the song is so strong (and visually connected to "Susan") that it didn't need new visuals.

And now you just gave me one! This is amazing. Can't believe we can see this after all these years!

I don't know why, but I have a feeling that the mystery song is "Drowned World".

It may not be a masterpiece, but that bridge sure is! She used to have the most amazing bridges, didn't she?
