Also, I just remembered they also cut Niki's playful shout-out at the very end of Holiday from the Re-Invention Tour (Igttyas CD that is), that was also kinda cool.

It's cute for a live show but considering they wanted the show to look more refined, cinematic and sleek (I mean we barely see the audience through the entire film) I get that they thought it didn't match the tone of the overall product.

I felt really bad so I asked him and turns out a relative owned the cds and passed a few years ago. He had to fly to a different country to get their stuff and to avoid paying for the shipping he threw away all the plastic cases and digipacks and kept most of the rest inside a portable cd case. It was for 200 like 5 months ago. He didn't want them anymore so he lowered the price! Lol

Yes, the Virgin Tour was shot with film cameras and not with TV cameras like later tours (WTGT, BAT, GST, DWT which is ideal for concerts in my opinion cause of the "live" frame rate). It's also notable that maybe more than one show were filmed; some shots show a slightly different movement or hairstyle. We could only hope that the full concert film including Borderline etc gets leaked. 

It was shot on 35mm and maybe both nights were shot. There are rumours a hair was caught in the lens and as such the three performances were scrapped, or that M didn't like how those performances turned out or that they simply wanted a 50 min VHS release. Also rumours that the film was being stored in one of the WTC towers and was lost in 2001. None of this has been confirmed

Warner’s offices were at Rockefeller Center, not World Trade Center.

The missing performances was the directors decision, as he thought “Madonna's performance was not her best in them.”

I saw the HBO broadcast a couple of days ago in AWE of how different the show actually was!

It was mostly Truth or Dare but people assumed that those were lost too. Even Alek. We know they did not film the entire show for the documentary but at least this means that the Like a Prayer and Hanky Panky performances aren't lost. 

There's also this rumour that one of the Japan shows (not the Yokohama we already have) was shot on film but not used in the film. I don't buy that one lol. 

I sound like a broken record with all these rumour talk. 

Regarding the videos, AT LEAST Bedtime Story HAS TO BE in 35 mm, it was released in cinema theatres back in 95, I don't think they showed sub 35mm quality on cinemas

As a collector one of my holy grails would be to get my hands on one of those reels cans

Apparently it's true. There are some videos that have leaked that are true HD, not upscaled.

Yes I heard this was also filmed in true HD, multiple HD cameras I believe. I really really really am waiting for the August 25th show to leak still (straight hair)
