  1. If rumors are true that she's performing American Life as part of her Pride set in NYC, she'll likely also include it in the tour .. but we'll see, I guess.
  2. With the prices I paid, I better get a lap dance. (joking ... sort of)
  3. Eh, who cares if she ever has a "hit" single at this point? Further chart success is just icing on the cake of an unbelievably long, untouchable career full of highlights. I'm just glad she's still around and passionate about making music.
  4. Superstar .. I don't know why, but it's the one M song I detest.
  5. 1. I'm Addicted (Should have been the first single) 2. Love Spent (Should have been a single) 3. Beautiful Killer (Should have been a single) 4. Girl Gone Wild (This should have been huge - the Gays let her down!) 5. Masterpiece (Should have been pushed as a single from the W./E. soundtrack) 6. Falling Free 7. I'm a Sinner 8. Some Girls 9. Give Me all Your Luvin' 10. I Don't Give A 11. Gang Bang (Loved this at first, but it hasn't aged well) 12. Turn Up the Radio 13. Best Friend 14. I Fucked Up 15. B-Day Song 16. Superstar (quite possibly my least favorite M song ever)
  6. 1. Erotica 2. Ray Of Light 3. Like a Prayer 4. Bedtime Stories 5. Madonna 6. True Blue 7. Music 8. Confessions on a Dance Floor 9. Madame X 10. Rebel Heart 11. American Life 12. MDNA 13. Like a Virgin 14. Hard Candy
  7. 1. Live to Tell 2. Papa Don’t Preach 3. La Isla Bonita 4. Open Your Heart 5. True Blue 6. Where’s the Party 7. White Heat 8. Jimmy Jimmy 9. Love Makes the World Go Round .. that was hard - True Blue has some of her strongest singles ever
  8. 1 - Frozen 2 - Ray of Light 3 - Drowned World / Substitute for Love 4 - Skin 5 - Candy Perfume Girl 6 - Nothing Really Matters 7 - Mer Girl 8 - Sky fits Heaven 9 - Power of Goodbye 10 - Swim 11 - To Have and Not to Hold 12 - Shanti / Ashtangi 13 - Little Star Has to Be is really great too ..
  9. I don't have a worse, though I thought the Re-Invention version was a little dull. I actually liked the Sticky and Sweet version too .. very different, and I don't think a lot of fans enjoyed it, but I was fine w/it.
  10. If she doesn't show up at a reasonable time, she better not be calling anyone out!
  11. BAT for sure ... nothing else is even close
  12. If there's to be another greatest hits set, I'd hope she does something really different - re-record some classic hits in new, interesting styles (studio versions of what she's done with many classics live) .. or a set of classic songs with new remixes ... some sort of special box set / remastered albums / unreleased demos anthology would be great too.
  13. I'm still digesting/enjoying/discovering Madame X .. I can't even begin to think about a next album yet Besides, there's so much more to come with this era
  14. The Virgin Tour version of course!! It's never been one of my favorite songs, but it sort of defines the early years
  15. I'll be at the October 1st Brooklyn show .. I'm super excited, of course, but this is the most I've ever spent on a single concert before.
  16. I must say, I'm a little peeved that I signed up for the lottery and got super expensive tickets ($700 range), and yet my seats are in Row M and very off to the side ... I have a feeling the unsold tickets will eventually go down in price (as has happened with previous tours). I probably could have got a better seat (or similar) for much less than what I paid. Lesson learned. No matter what, I'm not jumping to spend a boatload next time.
  17. Probably someone who's relatively unknown .. I imagine it'd be really hard for any actress to get right
  18. Girlie Show all the way .. loved the military theme
  19. I'm doubtful a big budget Madonna biopic will happen in her lifetime, although there is a good story to tell .. as for the director of Bohemian Rhapsody, I'd hope they find someone better. I though Bohemian Rhapsody was terrible .. such a superficial "bio" pic .. Freddy Mercury deserved much, much better .. and Rocketman sort of looks like the same movie but w/Elton John inserted. I don't plan on bothering w/that one.
  20. https://people.com/movies/rocketman-bohemian-rhapsody-director-would-do-madonna-biopic-next/ The man behind the two biggest biopics of the last year has his sights set on another legend. Director Dexter Fletcher, who stepped in to finish last year’s Bohemian Rhapsody and also helmed the upcoming Rocketman, gave an interview to Gay Star News where he chooses Madonna as his potential next subject. “I’d do Madonna! That sounds like a real rollercoaster ride! It would be extraordinary,” he told the outlet. “I don’t know how happy she’d be about that… But what an extraordinary life that would be. If I was to tackle any other icon like that, it would be her. She’s extraordinary.” RELATED: Elton John Didn’t Want to Leave Out Drugs, Sex in Rocketman: ‘I Haven’t Lived a PG-13 Rated Life’ But the iconic singer might not be on board for a movie about her life. After The Hollywood Reporter confirmed an upcoming biopic about her in 2017, reportedly titled Blond Ambition, Madonna posted a cryptic message on Instagram seemingly denouncing the movie. “Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen. Only I can tell my story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool. Looking for instant gratification without doing the work. This is a disease in our society,” she wrote next to a throwback shot of her. The script, written by Elyse Hollander landed at the top of the 2016 Black List, which tracks Hollywood’s most popular un-produced screenplays. Bohemia Rhapsody earned Rami Malek a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Queen’s Freddie Mercury while Rocketman follows the story of Elton John, played by Taron Egerton. Rocketman hits theaters Friday.
  21. I registered for tickets for the Brooklyn shows. At first, I was confused and only picked one night with a very limited amount I'd be willing to pay. I then realized I should pick multiple nights and up the amount I was willing to pay. After discussing it with my better half, I decided to up the price even more to increase my odds .. so I went through the process 3 times .. I got tickets in the $700 range (the max I was willing to pay), kind of off to the side but in the orchestra area .. I did all this as a member of the general public. Looking back on it, I might have tried for the $500 range tickets as my maximum price. I feel kind of weird that I paid so much for tickets .. but know it'll be worth it in the end. I've spent more to see Madonna in the past, but for multiple shows .. I've never spent this much for a single show. I also wonder if you will actually be able to get some tickets last minute for a more reasonable price. That's been the case for me in the past. Then again, there aren't nearly as many seats, so that might not be likely. Overall, my experience was ok. And I'm super excited to see her in such an intimate setting. I do believe most seats will be good given the small venue.
  22. The Blond Ambition version of Like a Virgin is the definition of iconic .. I'm also a huge fan of what she did for it during the Rebel Heart Tour - it was simple but fun
  23. Maybe so! I always love meeting other Madonna fans. I'm dragging my bf along .. he's not as big a fan as me, but he's excited. It's his first time seeing her live.
  24. OMG, I'm so excited! I finally got my confirmation for 2 tickets in Brooklyn - for the very last night!! And now I'm totally broke ...
  25. I'd love to see more 90s tracks included - sort of like how the 80s seemed to be the focus on the older songs in Rebel Heart. Maybe she'll actually sing 'Rescue Me' this time around .. that would be an amazing surprise. I'm also dying for her to one day sing 'Bad Girl' on tour .. but I fear she might have forgotten the song exists
