Take a Bow it's the most streamed track (56.3 million) followed by Secret (20.2 million).

Renato Iodice got a reaction from James19709 in Singles... if Erotica never received damage control treatment
I would have preferred a video for WHY'S IT SO HARD; FEVER was nice but somewhat not necessary.

Well, Confessions's non-singles are all performing well; even the divisive I Love New York and Push.

What It Feels Like For A Girl is still played on radio in Aus actually. I wouldn't say its completely forgotten.

Yes regarding WIFLFAG, it isn't even a song I'd think would be sought out much since it's been added to streaming. People don't remember it, other than the fans. I don't think it's necessarily doing "poorly" either. It's just not a song I'd expect to be streaming big numbers compared to many of her other huge songs.

I wonder if to some extent Jump’s numbers are assisted by its placement in The Devil Wears Prada. It’s still a very beloved movie.

Renato Iodice got a reaction from Prayer in Madonna's Spotify Progress
It didn't sell a lot of physical copies, but when it comes to radio airplay, yes, Jump was pretty successful; just like Hung Up and Sorry, italian local radios regularly play it... I can't talk about other european countries, but if you have a look at Spotify numbers, it's among her 40 most streamed songs (top 30 if you ignore the double versions and the various remixes).
On the other hand, we can't say the same about the mediocre numbers of Hollywood and WIFLFAG (in particular the remix that it's among her least streamed singles).

Hollywood is a significant single so I understand that. Massive radio play, VMA performance, huge dance/club single and in UK and Aus was really popular. It also should've done well in the US, just the boycott.
Yeah I agree, Give It 2 Me should've definitely been on Celebration instead of Miles Away though.
They should definitely release a Digital 3CD version of Celebration and include all of those. Would definitely increase streams of those songs too.

I actually like Hard Candy.
Since its release.

Renato Iodice reacted to lap in POPULAR
Well, you are so wrong. I listened Popular many times on radio. The last time I listened a new Madonna song so oftenly on radio was Celebration. You have the right to dislike the song, but the numbers and the facts can't be rewritten.

Renato Iodice reacted to MDNA22 in UPDATED: Madonna’s 40 Greatest Singles Poll RESULTS Friday 8pm UK time
It was originally going to be only on the deluxe version.
I can't believe Beautiful Killer and Love Spent were not singles but Girl Gone Wild and Turn Up the Radio were!

Renato Iodice reacted to MaDöner Kebab in Singles... if Erotica never received damage control treatment
Considering most fans rank it at the bottom of that album, I don’t think the GP would have been any more accepting. It’s a dreary, overly long and highly depressing song. The GP didn’t embrace Bad Girl (which has the exact same drum track) and they also didn’t seem to like Oh Father. I think we can be sure that In This Life would have been the biggest flop.

Erotica's "rapping" songs were already a bit of an overkill after Justify My Love, Rescue Me and Erotica. I don’t think songs like Waiting, Secret Garden, Where Life Begins were ever considered as singles.

For an era that is considered a flop or whatever, it had great singles. Ballads and dance. Gorgeous videos. Great remixes. Looks for days. A great tour. SNL. All of it has aged well... except the writing of the Sex Book (the imagery is great) and Body of Evidence. My only music gripe is "Bye Bye Baby". A lot of fans seem to love it and the house remixes but I never clicked with any of them. I would have gone with "Thief of Hearts" or "Words". You would think that her VMA performance for that era would be notorious but it's mostly forgotten in the grand scheme of her other major moonman moments.
