  1. You get the most part of it if you put CC in that video
  2. I met him before, several times, He used to come a lot to a bar I used to work and I know the owners and their club. He work there too. And I know lots of his acquaintances. He has been always a nasty, pretentious knob. Not even like someone that could be arrogant to some but nice to others. I still have to meet someone that has a nice word about him. He has been profiting from others and trying to make that he is more than he is. I think he accused Madonna of stealing his looks and say it to some tabloid , but Madonna couldn't care less and since then he is bitter. Didn't he move to LA and live as freeloader for one in the circus of Housewives? Years ago was going to EVERY single party in London and trying to impress everyone and getting free booze and privilege for being there. But got to a point that promoters and others couldn't care of his crap anymore.
  3. I do think it will be hilarious if she invite Kylie, Gaga, Cher, Britney just to see the mouths foaming of some of the gays that keep teaming up these women against each other. In fact 4 of them in the same night. ThEy ArE THe PrINCesSS oF PoP MAdOnnA IS tHE QuEEn!!! Xtina can hold their drinks in the meantime
  4. True but still is jumping on the wave of sensationalism. He could just ignore the whole thing but he didn't. I think it was great. Let's don't forget this man was selling a 'straight' image before and he was forced to come out. But that's what I mean if he can perceive M 'selling out ' with that performance he can admit he give himself to the spectacle as well.
  5. I don't think he's being mean-spirited in his response. It's his personal opinion and didn't put Madonna down in it. At the time, Madonna was kind of mentoring Britney. They both wore T-shirts with each other's names. While Christina was clearly managed, I saw the Britney-Madonna combo as Madonna caring for her and Britney greatly admiring M. George Michael has always been incredibly particular about his collaborations and how his work is represented, sometimes obsessively. Madonna has been more relaxed about who she works with. He and Elton John often seem too precious for the common world. They might have their reasons, but a bit of humility could make them more approachable, I think. Regarding the 'desperation' or shock value part: He made a whole music video based on being arrested in a toilet. A fun thing to do, but he was cashing out on the tabloids and the shock of the public.
  6. Yeah that one is awesome but was'nt celebrating an anniversary ?
  7. But that's done in purpose is a take on DeepFake. The idea of having 'celebrities' featured but they are actually deepfakes created by AI as it was mentioned similar to why people went on strike to fight against. Also cue to the hyperbolic representation of the bodies like some crazy ideal. The whole video is a critic.
  8. I think it's because Madonna had gathered more of a pop following, so is more expected to be products for GP with a pop appeal. Bjork has been doing shit like this her whole career and nobody flick an eyelid every time she is part of something new. And if you pay attention to M's career she has been always wanting to be part of something more than just singing and dancing.
  9. I agree. Madonna right now is reviving and celebrating her career, it's not all about features or strict collaborations. Is about art, experimenting and doing what she ever did: What she likes. It's not about what Madonna does in the video but how the artist wanted her to be represented and what it means for her. Like the collaboration with Chris, Madonna just want to be part of those creatives she discovers or enjoys. Is not her work ,she is just part of it. But she is part of it because of her status, legacy and who she is.
  10. Taking away the band and backup singers really puts Madonna in the spotlight. Bob's presence provides support and allows her to catch her breath. I watched it again a couple of days ago and was blown away by the dancers—so young and crazy talented. The idea that these dancers aren't as good as the previous ones is just plain absurd The choreography is so well thought out; it gives Madonna room to shine without overshadowing her. You can see this, especially in the first part, where the moving platforms and dancers create an amazing vibe without pushing Madonna too hard physically. Also is a show that makes a difference when you experience in person. The lighting, the banners and the platforms keeps you busy looking around.
  11. I love Felix - 'Don't you want me' but when I heard it in the S&S mash I thought it was a bit cheap tbh. Maybe because they do the other Give it to me/Cassius mash also and it sounded like a Myspace compilation or maybe because the visuals remind me of being in some superchurch in Texas. The whole S&S backdrops were appalling. I'll give my vote to BA. That whole part of the concert is excellent. And I enjoyed the Live 8 and the Celebration too.

@cedric yeah they clearly did the mixes of these and Erotica at the same time, all of the dubs and beats are the same

  13. Jose Xtravaganza sounds like a sure guest somehow during the NY visit
  14. The Bob intro starts with Deeper and Deeper (Shep's Deeper Dub)
  15. Christopher Ciccone Sandra Bernhard Gwyneth Paltrow Kevin Costner
  16. She wasn't even part of the Pride show isn't she
  17. Clearly they are all family and close friends there. I doubt we have any random celeb that has not a close relationship with her. I expect Rosie, Debie, Ingrid.. would'nt be surprised if Miley and Britney appear at some point. Niki & Donna most likely.
  18. Maybe because both make reference to the iconic Barbarella's Opening Credits scene
  19. He made a post expecting it to be popular and hashtag some of his crappy booze brand, that tells you enough of the nature of all of this. Don't give him free advertising.
  20. The topless dancers have few statements there. They are a reference to the Girlie Show where all of the dancers had a short or shaved head and wear clothes without gender values. Madonna wanted to be a celebration of that and she even mocks the gender when she does the Bye Bye Baby and gives the speech about 'We are Men and we ***ck women...(we do?)" Also as she has shown in the past she is against the censorship of women nipples and being topless. Hung Up is a about her not following those games anymore and moving on. If with Express Yourself she was saying not to be a passive woman and take control in Hung Up she is saying she has enough and she doesn't need him. Being topless reflects part of that feminist statement.
