  1. wow... now June is a long gap for the next ones... Papa Don't Preach - Jun 11, 1986 This Used To Be My Playground - Jun 16, 1992 Who's That Girl - Jun 23, 1987
  2. I guess it's impossible to release each market version of the maxi singles , and honestly I believe that version of Burning up really belongs to the album reissue since it was the original LP version of the first album press. As for Into the Groove I doubt they would release previously unreleased edits and versions unless used for the LAV reissue, but also in that case I'd prefer unreleased tracks such as Desperately seeking Susan and Warning Signs.... a boy can dream
  3. So the edit fades out some 10 seconds before the LP version? that's all?
  4. Not totally correct as when it was out Title on spine was "Angel"/"Into The Groove" Specially-Priced 2-Cut Maxi Single (at least for the US 12") https://www.discogs.com/it/master/34026-Madonna-Angel?image=3902804.SW1hZ2U6MTA4NzU4NzU%3D
  5. Love that cover and the fact the dance mix edit is there. Alas Into The Groove won't be released separately maybe... Did they name it "Angel/Into the groove" or just Angel? Also why this isn't 2024 remaster like Material Girl was? Mmm
  6. Angel was out in 1985 as Into the groove so I wonder if they will wait for its anniversary next year too... who knows... Material girl was instead on streaming earlier although out in January 1985... again weird strategy releases
  7. if so she must really lead a very sad life... which I doubt because I'm sure she really isn't into this stuff. Honestly I doubt she was upset about people spoiling digital issues of stuff from 40 years ago. I suppose it must be fan fiction. Let alone the fact Rhino doesn't even create buzz around it... On a more serious note I'd say the only thing we need now is those unreleased tracks from Steve Bray: Desperately Seeking Susan, Love attack and Warning signs. Goodnite and thank you ;)
  8. if they skipped Crazy for You and Live to tell might be because they want to concentrate on the Like a virgin album singles now since the anniversary is in November? Who knows the "strategy"....
  9. no her original album version Is on Spotify
  10. was thinking also about her other artists collabs and produced songs or remixes are not on streaming... examples are: Queen's English (Album Version)4:18 2Queen's English (Royal Club Mix)7:46 3Queen's English (The Factory Mix)14:17 4Queen's English (The Queen's Spanish)4:32 5Queen's English (Mo Mo's In The House)4:02 6Queen's English (Royal Dub)
  11. Feels like there's no sense of appreciation for her body of work at all, plus the producer Reggie Lucas also passed away five years ago and it would have made it a nice recognition to his work as well....it's really funny to read this thread and find out about blankets instead ...
  12. I guess this is the most anonymous campaign /digital reissue ever... if we don't count the random twits on Rhino's account...
  13. The look of love doesn't need a release as much as Another suitcase would in a combo with Buenos Aires remixes! I'd say the main ones remaining singles are these 12 (we should making it by November to finally complete it all) Crazy For You - March 2, 1985 Angel - April 10, 1985 Papa Don't Preach - June 11, 1986* This Used To Be My Playground - June 16, 1992 Who's That Girl - June 23, 1987 Dress You Up - July 24, 1985 (US) Cherish - August 1, 1989* Causing A Commotion - August 25, 1987 True Blue - September 17, 1986* (UK) / October 9, 1986 (US) Die Another Day - October 22, 2002 Like A Virgin - October 31, 1984 Open Your Heart - November 12, 1986*
  14. it's unreleased, but it's simply another edit of the album version
  15. I agree, although it doesn't seem they actually follow the European discography when releasing a digital ep, mostly seems to be the US one. The only exception was Drowned World I think. They skipped Crazy for you unfortunately and we missed the full version... so why would they release ITG when the full version is online already? As for Live to tell I guess the tracklist might be this?: Live To Tell (lp version)5:49 Live To Tell (Edit)4:37 Live To Tell (Instrumental)5:49
