  1. Time Stood Still and American Pie her vocals were amazing on those - so well produced and mixed by William Orbit too
  2. People who don't like her just say she can't sing because they don't like her - but her voice is amazing in how she puts a song across and the emotion and story telling in her voice and the fact it is not technically as perfect only increases her connection and realness when listening to her songs - her voice is so unique like Freddi Mercury you know straight away it is Madonna when you hear her. Even her star quality and charisma comes through in her voice wether singing or spoken word part of songs. Think her voice sounds great on dance/pop tracks and ballads too but she doesn't do them much now. This was why Madame X and MNDA were so frustrating as you hardly heard her sing or her real voice because the vocals were so overproduced in the case of MDNA or over use of vocoder on Madame X
  3. I love all her vocals and how she can vary it by different song.
  4. I have a feeling the Los Angeles shows were filmed as Jonas was there talking with the camera crew and from the clips on YouTube the shows looked the most on point yet - Erotica looked amazing and like she was trying even harder like she does when shows are getting filmed plus with the multiple nights they could have got all the angles they needed over several nights in the same venue and had time to film a rehearsal for close ups - will be interesting if they film in Mexico though as the last arena shows and is there for multiple nights same as LA
  5. Wonder if Jonas will direct the filming/broadcast ? I really hope so or Hamish Hamilton and not Ricardo or anyone else. - the deserves the best director for the broadcast
  6. I hope the live show goes well as the last live performance that she nailed was really the superbowl but agree it means we are likely to get a recording of the show that is actually like watching the show unlike the last over edited recordings - I hope she doesn't change the set list
  7. Sounds like it could be amazing with the best audience ever - but she now gets so nervous with award shows and anything televised live and is rarely as good as when on the actual tour and relaxed so hope she has the arena version of the show filmed professionally too in case it's another Maluma/Eurovision moment and are relying on this show for the official recording. Then again she nailed it with the superbowl live performance and the atmosphere is a massive crowd in South America will be amazing and if this will be the official recording of the show - will hopefully restrict the editing process to 1 show and not footage from every night getting mixed in and spoiling the edit. Hoping Jonas will be in charge of filming and editing this show for the official recording. Would love it if we had one version in the arena setting and one from Brazil from this free concert if it is true Nothing is ever free - and wonder if this 'free' concert could be a promo for a second leg of the tour 6 months later like she did with S&S and the recording was broadcast on the night of the start of the second leg? Or a promo really for re-release of the Celebration hits album or to convince studios the interest is there to go ahead with the biopic film?
  8. Which shows do you think have been the best so far? The LA shows look to me to be the best ones so far from clips online?
  9. Maybe she is hoping if a Biopic gets made it will win an Oscar for best film
  10. There were final edits made of Die Another Day, Burning Up and recently Don't Tell Me over the 2 nights filmed in Lisbon and think the leaked full show was a rough cut of one of the shows only without taking shots from both nights Loved the rough cut from Lisbon as it was 1 show only and no continuity issues and felt like you were there watching the show and prefer it to the over edited more recent ones
  11. Maybe she should take up acting again more - she was good in some films especially Desperately Seeking Susan, Who's That Girl and Evita
  12. Wondered if she might sing WAP with Cardi B for the acoustic part lol
  13. I hope we get the full Lisbon show in HD properly edited like that Don't Tell Me that was put online not that long ago or the full show filmed by Jonas for the documentary. It's one of her best tours
  14. Too much filters/editing lol is like Madonna is not even in them
  15. The re-touching/filters on Madonna just spoil the photo
  16. Agree especially about the cheapening of dance music at the time and that cheap lowest common denominator sound is all over this record Think William Orbit said about how bad Demacio recorded/mixed the vocals and album and was out of his hands
  17. Think that would be a better track listing than what we got The single choices were really misjudged by LiveNation/Interscope and then badly promoted The vocals were pitched up a bit too high on some tracks Generic dated boring EDM production on Girl Gone Wild let the song down as the opening track - just sounded a tacky and cheap generic dance track nothing interesting about it B'day song should never have made it Should have been no bonus CD and Beautiful Killer and I f**d up should have been on the main one The William Orbit tracks were perhaps the strongest - Love Spent, Falling Free, I'm A Sinner and Some Girls - all brilliant songs and his own remixes of them also great Maybe single choices might have been better with Beautiful Killer, Love Spent, I'm Addicted - but hard to say what would have done best and if it would have avoided nosedive on the single charts from the singles from the album and done any better than the ones released. Official remixes were mainly trashy dull EDM mixes - her weakest set of remixes from an album to date so don't think got much air time in the clubs. The fan ones and William Orbit's own unreleased ones were better I do wonder if she had made this record while with Warner if we would have got a different record with maybe different track listing, different production and single choices also promoted better. I think Give Me All Your Luvin though was perfect for the Superbowl show - but not sure was the strongest choice for the lead single? I loved the Turn Up the Radio video as was so good to see a video from her not shot inside a studio like a video of a photoshoot - but outside I remember reading that Pharrell said he though Daft Punk would have been a great choice to be involved in producing the album and maybe was right ? I think it's more of a Madonna sounding record than Rebel Heart and Madame X - it feels more her than Hard Candy even if the songs were not as solid too
  18. One of the Blond Ambition dancers or Britney Spears
  19. Hard Candy 4 Minutes Give It 2 Me Miles Away Best Goes On Devil Would't Recognise You MDNA I'm Addicted Beautiful Killer Love Spent Rebel Heart Rebel Heart (Demo from Avicci) Wash All Over Me (Demo from Avicci) Hold Tight (Album mix) Ghostown Madame X I Don't Search I Find (Honey Dijon Mix) Back That Up To The Beat (Mirwais Mix)
  20. Maybe she will be like a kid in a sweet store if she edits this film herself and wants to pull from all the available footage filmed for the screens with so many cameras in place filming each show - it could take about 3 years to work through all the material to edit it considering how long Madame X took with more limited choice on footage to use
  21. I agree I think it was more limited in terms of the source material she could chose from but still think several shows were filmed and mixed together plus clips filmed for instagram on a phone. I think several dates in Lisbon and Paris were filmed and there was footage used from the Pride performance too at least in Vogue and they mixed in audience shots from Rebel Heart and MDNA I think not even using the audience in some places from the same tour lol I noticed her hair kept changing in Vogue and IDSIF from wearing a wig to no wig and the eye patch in human nature was on for one frame and the next frame was off and then back on again. The footage from the beer bitch I am guessing was shot on a mobile phone and then used for the official filming of it as the quality was so poor - then you have the re-shoots 12 months after the tour ended and was quite obvious which parts were re-shot a year after the tour ended I think mainly Frozen and Future - I thought Madame X wasn't edited any better really than Rebel Heart and MDNA. This style of editing just makes it so hard to watch and you lose the feeling like you are watching a film of a live show and even harder to watch and feel like you are there watching it in person
