Guys, I need your help. Two friends of mine are now looking foward for a girls night so we can watch a Madonna concert together. The thing is, I'm the die hard fan, they barely know the hits. Of course, my first obvious option was the Confessions Tour. But I thought a little bit and considered showing them the Madame X Tour film. As a personal favourite, I think it encapsulates so much of Madonna's work in art, but at the same time it's the most different show she ever did. It's more intimate and has a setlist made, in almost it's entirety, by the Madame X songs, which are... divisive, to say the least? So, what do you guys think? Confessions Tour or Madame X Tour? Should I show to them another concert? Give me your opinions. p.s. Truth or Dare (or IGTTYAS) is out of the question, they said they want to watch a recorded concert.

The news from me are the ones Guy, Debi and Rosie shared. Yes, some of the speculation makes sense but even a broken clock is right two times a day. By pure luck. Whatever. I know she's at home, she's awake and recovering. That is enough. When she's better, she'll speak. My concerns are for the multiple concert dates next to each other. I think it would be more reasonable to play few dates at stadiums than several at arenas. It is exhausting. But again, I think. It's just a mere thought I wanted to share somewhere.

she just said "see you soon" on instagram stories. for me it has to be new music coming, even if it's just new version of previous songs, although I highly hope it's not that.

Let's not forget the rumored scene when Frida Kahlo comes in... I wonder who she'll pick to portray her that is if this scene really existis and if it makes the final cut.

The performance was released on portuguese press and you can easily find on youtube but it looks like recorded from an iPhone (still great if you have in mind it's the only footage we have) For now, that's the only way to watch. It was definetly recorded and edited professionally but we don't know when it's coming out.

Is the audio ripped from the film?

Apparently Paramount+ in Brazil removed the film from their platform but it's still available in their channel in the Amazon streaming. At this point idk if it was intentional or not.

Does the songs have subtitles with it's lyrics?

What surprises me in this discussion is that you guys think she sings "nao funana" (which translates to no funana, and to me makes no sense at all) and all this time I thought it was "now funana"

I think this shorter edits are from the final version, remember when she was still editing the film and she said "it's gonna go by even faster"? The last days of editing were probably dedicated to this

So a brazilian journalist asked Madonna what she thought about the brazillian president and M's assistant told her to leave, M was not going to answer, lol Then, she was told questions evolving politics shouldn't be made on the film premiere. I guess she was avoiding any controversial question. When asked about Britney, she didn't even let the journalist finish the question (seems like it would be about Britney's conservatoship) and just answered about her engagement.

LOL that Vatican Speech is not random at all. It was her response to something important that was happening to her and her career. I'll have to wait until oct 8th to watch the film but I'm sure she included it because they thought it would fit (and add) to the narrative of the show
