  1. Saturday 4/20 IS Record Store Day…so…something…maybe? ☺️

  3. I just saw a close up video of her “meltdown” about the AC. What struck me most (and I haven’t seen pointed out) is that 1) she was clearly not in bitch mode though her tone was severe. She looks very very close to bursting into tears. 2) For all the talk of her being “unprofessional”, the audience was very much on her side and seemed to have understood. And 3) anyone (and I do mean Taylor, Beyoncé, Janet, whoever) would have done the exact same thing if their request had been repeatedly ignored an hour into their show. Was it cringe, yes…but hardly unprofessional. At least to me. We’ve all seen her be downright rude before…this wasn’t that.
  4. This may be an unpopular opinion, but when the inevitable live album/concert film comes out, I am actually hoping that for some (most) of the songs, she goes in and re-records her vocals live in a studio for the release. I say this not because I think she’s been horrible live (I saw the show in Detroit and she was in great form), but because I so enjoy so many of the mixes created for this show, having pristine versions of them is a-okay with me. Nothing can duplicate the “live” experience so why not?
  5. With all of this talk about her continued tardiness, I’m starting to miss talking about her giant ass… 😜
  6. I’m looking forward to seeing the show in Detroit in January! Of course there are a handful of songs I would love to see her perform, some I won’t miss and few that I feel she has, with all due respect, run into the ground (I’m looking at you Human Nature 😜) but I have never felt that the set list has ever defined her shows. For me, it’s always been more about the experience and theatricality of the show in general. Even with strong feelings and opinions, I hope people enjoy it. I know I will.
  7. I remember seeing this as a kid. It cracked me up. Very shady, but I’ve always loved Julie Brown.
