  1. What we know: Tour is launching July. Madonna has been working on new music in the last year with various remixers/producers what we don't know but can easily conclude: New album/EP coming (whether part of the tour or not, we don't know yet) I'm just super excited to be on this ride again with Madonna!!
  2. LOL (just having a little fun with you.... But seriously... just take the next day off LOL)
  3. I gave Taylor's album a good honest try/listen. They all sound the same and was missing catchy pop hooks and the special "something". I am perplexed how she does so well with that body of work, but its not up to me to judge... apparently she has some magic I just can't grasp. But more power to her and good for her! Its just not for me.
  4. You seem like you need to be right on this topic. Ok, I concede... You're right. But what I said wasn't wrong. We can debate about many things and that's great discord. But what isn't debatable for most concertgoers, is being able to tell the difference between enjoying a show in an arena or enjoying a show in a theater. We can make that distinction pretty easily on our own.
  5. oddly, I agree about the audiences for Madame X tour... I tell people all the time, When you walk into an arena or stadium to see Madonna... There is an energy/magic/force that is palpable. You can feel it. I never felt that for the theatre venues she did for MX tour. It told me clearly that Madonna's power live comes from a large venue to showcase her spectacle. I think for the MX tour, Madonna under-estimated herself... It didn't need to be in those small venues. MX tour could have rocked harder in arenas. If M can pull of an amazing, soft, touching moment like True Blue or powerful, sad, intense Heartbreak City/Love Don't Live Here Anymore on RHT, any track from MX tour could have worked very well in an arena.... Not sure the theatre option was best... for her mystique and power. Just my opinion.
  6. I hear you and respect your position. But you've also proven my point, somewhat. And I will agree with all of you that had to wait 3 hours. after an opening act, that is not common where I've been to see Madonna. Maximum about 1.5 hours after opening act.
  7. Never in the history of popstars.... has any popstar... started at the start time of the time on the ticket. Ever.... That's the time the Venue (usually) opens its doors or the opening act begins. Usually, the main act starts 30 mins to 1 hour after the opening act ends. So lets count the time. Even if the opening act begins at 8pm, and lately for Madonna that means the DJ act spinning records will end around 9pm-ish. She's not starting until closer to 10pm generally. This should not surprise anyone and if your transportation issues are ever in question or possibly may not be running by the time the show ends, that is still the responsibility of the concert goer to arrange. Not sure how old people are, but if you've been going to concerts (in the USA) since the 80s, you should know this. Carry on.
  8. Most M fans have unrealistic expectations. I heard/still hear often.... I have to work the next day... why is she so late?? Seeing Madonna is an event that most should be somewhat comfortable taking the next day off work for (if you must see her during the week).
  9. leaning toward a no on all of this. I think portions may be accurate but the overall truth... no. Madonna cannot afford to have a setlist like that at this stage of her career, coupled with her behavior and overall fear now that she can even perform like she did for most of her career with new butt implants and extreme amount of cancellations from last tour. She has to be smart... this set list is not smart. Niki's assistant is my friend.... He said he'll believe when he sees it.
  10. I've been monitoring all of the chatter on the tour & new music rumors. I am waiting for a bit more substantial details or news from other locations that are confirming confirmed or reserved dates before posting any news on Madonna Remixers United. Madonna's latest behavior and releases of new inventions of her classics are head scratching (to say the least). I have faith, but I also am not pandering to a lot of what she's doing now. Its time for M to get to work and put out some work that is worthy of her legacy. And then, yeah... its time to celebrate a new era!
  11. How can we watch this? Or do we have to wait later for footage?
  12. There is also rumor of a new song to be performed.
  13. Lola just arrived in a beaded pink gown
  14. This is not a productive post. It has an intention of disruption by nature even in the poster didn't realize it.
  15. from my understanding.... Pat Leonard is working on the soundtrack for her Bio pic. The Weeknd and M have something secretly being cooked up for or around the SuperBowl in February....
  16. Its been the most hyped of all from Madame X.... we all sort of have big anticipation for Dark Ballet.
  17. Madonna has already stated when the very recent bio-pic was in production that nobody can tell her story like she can and when she does she will set the record straight... This was big news within the last 24 months or so. Likely Madonna will do something in her golden years before officially retiring that is some form of a retrospect. She has told us at least for now, she plans on doing something.
  18. Andymad is correct. Madonna while during the Pre-Madonna years as an adult always had gay influencers on her... her teachers, her friends, etc., that is one aspect. She was always on the side of us gays from the beginning. Now, in general, the pop stardom and appeal aspect of the gay draw to Madonna was as strong and alluring as gays to Barbra or Judy or Liza or Cher or Bette... there is just something from a pop star aspect that was like a magnet for us to be attracted to Madonna's light. I have not found in modern post madonna history many other types of magnetisms... For some, I guess Gaga or Beyonce for sure, likely Britney... But all of them in one form or another still look up to Madonna as their role model and know the feeling of what is was like being an early Madonna fan... it was such a ride.
  19. I think Liam and Magic .... you both need to stop replying to each other. Let this go. Take a moment and stop.
  20. yes. The "unexpected Madonna" has proven often years later to have been a great choice. I am open-minded for the future sound. I do really hope that the album isn't poo-pooed on ad-nauseam before its ever heard. Thats why i think every album should have less tidbits dropped.
  21. ' I agree. I originally responded to this post by using Madonna's own response to someone directly asking Madonna on Reddit... Her reply was "No."
  22. OMG! That is so fucking funny and true!!!
