Honestly..... more and more I think Madonna would do better to reboot her tech/security. People like Madonna are Brands. She [should] be employing security tech firms to handle all gateways/computers she uses or links to with Interscope. Tracking this should be 1st and foremost in real time nowadays. The other thing is, Whether we know in the future she is recording a new album or not has just come into question again. Everyone was speculating that Madonna shouldn't pull a secret album ala Beyonce... But I believe that should be the norm now. Hell, even get in front of it by crediting Beyonce for reviving the concept (as Beyonce was not the first but did just pull it off well). Every new Madonna album should be a secret album moving forward me thinks.

The only positive I am taking from this is that as a fan, we usually get leaked demos (unheard or prior versions) long after an album. Now we have a significant amount prior to an album release. I am 100% sure that the final album is under lock and key and will be fabulous.

its bittersweet.... I do not want this album leaked (demos or final tracks) but there is only 1 song I am not too keen on and the rest are heaven. Very happy with this work so far but I wish no more leaks please.

I'm very upset these leaked. yes, they are some of her best work to date, better than HC or MDNA, but you can tell these are demos. possibly, this could be the best PR for the new album.... the way this has happened is strange. These should all be watermarked. If they were watermarked, no one would dare leak them.

Sara (to my knowledge) works for Guy and has been for quite some time, Co-managing Madonna. Guy is quite successfully building his management/entrepreneurial empire which includes multiple tech company start ups/ business ventures with Madonna & others and taking on new powerhouse music clients to manage (U2 & Alicia Keys)

I preferred the Jibs over the final edited shots. The jibs appeared more grand... more epic live feel.

Hello all, While away for the American Holiday, I learned like all of you have, that these 2 demos leaked. I think its safe to say, in this media savvy world, getting them and playing them over and over is relatively easy and could be considered a Thanksgiving gift (possibly?) Well, I must admit, I love both of them and I adore the direction this is going in. I am comfortable stating that. I do have a HUGE problem with the threat/rumors of more leaks. Hell, I would have fallen in love with Rebel Heart and WAOM anyway... those 2 never should have leaked. I just wish people would get that... its weird to be happy with the music, but to want the experience to be special and sadly any leak robs us of a special experience, sitting with a new Madonna album for the first time. I regard that as those special moments that come every 2.5-3 years or so. I look forward to that day. I know a lot of you do to. NO MORE LEAKS!!

I miss the good ole days of her doing a small club like G.A.Y or KoKo.... She should control the vibe, never have an Olympia scenario again.... It must be filmed... Madonna's actual roots are from the clubs, she should embrace that.

Yeah, Madonna Slayed the 1-2 punch of Debut and sophomore album! Later, she also did this with the 1-2 punch of lead single and 2nd single with Like A Prayer and Express Yourself... arguably 2 of Madonna's most successful back to back single releases.

I have a serious feeling Madonna is cooking up something very good and will have a more lasting impression than Hard Candy or MDNA, although I adore those 2 albums, they are not like LAP or ROL, which we need another long lasting album similar to those 2.

agreed. I have also heard rumblings that this would be Her last major record deal and would enter into a working retirement.... a la Cher. Which makes perfect sense actually. Theoretically, this upcoming tour has to have 2 legs... If she does not go to Australia or Asia, she's breaking her own promise which was pretty substantial, and the timing to start the tour in Australia has passed, the tickets would have been on sale already, so if she does go, it would be very late 2015/early 2016, probably after the American leg. But honestly, and I hope and pray for this, if there truly is a double album with a staggered release more like Justin Timberlake, Madonna could have an immensely huge next 2 years and actually mount 2 tours or 2 very successful leg 1 and leg 2 with very different set lists and stage designs. Its actually very possible and plausible. It just depends on how hard she wants to work and how long she wants to tour. Then, she can be free of the obligations of a contract and put an album out maybe every 5-7-10 years as she beautifully ages and enjoys her family and successes.

Yeah.. there is serious talk (rumors) of a double album. I think I just wet myself with anticipation now!! LOL

I'll say it again... as long as there are no leaks... I'm good. I do want an album title and release date to be set however, even if its probably like March 2015.... set the date.

I know it sounds weird, but I think I've prepped myself this time around as though the wait is part of the process.... I'm content actually, when any new music comes I think I'll be in a better headspace (than MDNA or HC). I don't feel tortured... I feel expectant and content. Mostly... this is due to reading comments in other forums (not like this one) that overly bitch without hearing anything. I think for the last 2 albums I got wrapped up in that... Not anymore. Distance can be good for the soul and recharging of the Madonna battery.

I truly hope that like with Ray of Light, Madonna releases some sort of lengthy behind the scenes, how this album came together because over all, I am 100% totally enthralled with all the rumors, track list names, producers, writers, etc. Oh, and I want like 5-6 amazing videos.

I would be surprised if something leaked... Although, I'm not ruling it out... but I would be surprised. Madonna pre-album release has proven to be very litigious about unreleased major leaks since Jorge/GMAYL. Anyone would be a fool to be the one holding that potato. They would deserve to be arrested.

Audiences are savvy these days... Maybe she was testing out some sounds.... Personally, I'm inclined to think she was just there... The last time she tested her sound in a large party venue was with Stuart in Ibiza with instrumental Hung Up... But Madonna wasn't there and I think that is key, her presence. But I could be 100% wrong. LOL Who knows!

Madonna is actually doing exactly what she does best... keeping everyone guessing... Its brilliant. After yesterday's announcement about U2's free album, I wonder if Madonna will go that route. She already gets advances for her albums and her $$$ comes from touring and merch deals. Even if Album 13/14 (I can't tell which # it is) sells 4-5 million... she's only making a % of that, maybe its in her best interest to do a free album to get maximum download/purchase exposure. Maybe this way, Madonna can avoid the bad press about 2nd week album sales drop off which we all know probably has a greater than 50% chance of happening (again.) And 2 albums in a row is not a good headline to write. If she gives it away... as according to this article about U2, There appears to be no downside and any other streaming service gets screwed.... Don't be surprised if 50% or more of the final new Madonna album contains new tracks never reported or currently the leaked info about the tracks we know completely reworked. This is a double-edged sword. Part of me wishes Madonna would have not allowed these demos to be part of the public domain. And Yeah... demos are circulating, not surprised about the sale of them occurring, the collectors always do this. I'm actually happy I have not heard any of the demos, people I know that have are literally flipping out over how classic and amazing some of the demos are. I am glad I do not have to have regrets since I don't know what they sounded like. But this... this is what people that have heard the demos feared.

No... I will be very disciplined this time. But Madonna needs to do her part and keep that shit locked down LOL. My biggest issue won't be with the majority of the album... It will be the potential leak of the first single. Of course I will listen to any snippet she promotes but I am not going to go the illegal download route. I want to create my own album listening experience. I used to have those organically long before the internet leak thing... I want that back. I may have to steer clear of certain threads sadly if leaks happen. Just FYI LOL

For sure.... and I never have will power, but this time... I want my listening experience to be like Ray of Light for me. Every album since, I've had before the release date... Now, I want to download any version that gives me a complete version (bonus or what not) clear my schedule and have at it. I want to revel in this next album

so I am torn. But ultimately I'm going to go with my gut. So, a few things.. This forum and other forums are actually the best places for these discussions. There is good and there is bad related to if any of this info should have been revealed and if any of you have bounced around and read other forums or pages you know (separate from the actual demo song descriptions) this is a hotly debated topic. I have known about these real listens for many weeks now. No, I have not heard them, but people I know have. The good- From a fan perspective its like Christmas morning. You can start to put the next Madonna album into perspective for yourself. I get that. (I think that may be the only good I can think of) The bad- These are demos still. The track list has not been finalized. From my knowledge some songs are so good the album will be a smash hit.... but shouldn't that be something you would want to wait for after a track list is set? There is worry that still some good songs that are not only being described but opinions given, may not make it now onto the album. The thing is, this wasn't an official industry listening party of the final album. This is commentary from demos heard over the internet of an unfinished album. Doesn't this raise any concerns now that this is known? Hey, I can't knock DrownedMadonna or Madonnarama... They are doing what they want. And who knows... this could be some reverse market test that we don't know about and Madonna is completely behind this all, we just don't know. From what I do know, Madonna knows the reception from Hard Candy and MDNA was that both albums missed a mark and seemed rushed. She is purposely trying to avoid this. Madonna is being extremely critical of this release and it is very very important to her. I just want or rather hope somewhere in our sphere of fandom that we can respect her enough to let her accomplish her goal. that's all I wanted to say. :wink:
