  1. If anybody goes to a show and sees pens — please buy some for me. We’ll figure out a deal. Please.
  2. I didn’t see them at the LA shows. But maybe I wasn’t looking for them.
  3. I regret missing out on the Rosary beads. That and the crazy cool Girlie Show pen nudie pen sets!
  4. Madame X is one of her most interesting albums in many ways. That so many fans didn’t get it simply left me a bit baffled and disappointed. It was such a confidant and totally out there record in oh-so-many ways. To me it was also very Classic Madonna in a lot of ways.
  5. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get something not too long after the tour ends. I have nothing to back this up. Just a feeling.
  6. I feel Madonna has been this way on several of the tours I went to. Rebel Heart and Madame X spring to mind where she was pretty chatty at times. And in Rebel Heart which I saw twice — she even swapped out a couple of song. In LA we got Like a Prayer and Secret. Two nights later in San Diego, we got Frozen and Who’s That Girl… So that was really cool.
  7. I was THERE for that and almost died as I would love to see that on a setlist some day. But to even get that little snippet was pretty dang awesome.
  8. I agree. I thought she was REALLY in great form tonight. Everything was fucking great. Hearing a bit of Hollywood was just icing on the cake. Also, so nice to have her sing Express Yourself this time, too.
  9. I just about diied tonight when she sang that snippet of Hollywood. Between this and Kylie the other night… I sure liucked out with my concert dates.
  10. I was there! It was epic. And people went nuts! Even as a casual Kylie fan, I was pretty fucking excited. A nice bit of pop history.
  11. The crazy thing was it was done with little warning fanfare. Madonna pretty much just said: “And now a special guest is going to come up and sing with me. Kylie Minogue!” It was really cool how it was kept as a totally out of left field surprise to the audience who went pretty fucking wild. It was a really cool moment. And one that they both really enjoyed.
  12. So crazy that they also sang a good chunk of CAN’T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD. It was a pretty wild moment. They sounded great together. And the love between them was pretty real, My first time seeing this tour. Loved it!
  13. Nah. I totally disagree with this bizarre argument. That’s REALLY what you think people today wanna hear? No way. No day. Those kind of mashups which were amazing wayyyyyy back in the day would sound incredibly dated in 2023 and 2024. More — when doing a career retrospective — that is THE time to so songs as they were originally done.
  14. Oh, seriously, go fuck yourself and be a cunt somewhere else.
  15. I love how people keep judging her singing from bootleg YouTube clips with amateur hour shot through an old iphone audio, but I guess plenty of people on here really are THAT fucking dumb…
  16. He should join the forums here as — sadly — he’d fit right in.
  17. That’s because the ORIGINAL album version was simply the best. Bedtime Story remains the one single saddled with remixes that only diminished the brilliance of the song rather than enhanced. The remixes made it sound generic and too much like everything else already out there. These remain the one set of remixes I simply never found even one to like. And I usually loved em all.
  18. I honestly don’t give a fuck if people around me don’t like certain songs. Hell, it only reinforces my opinion that most people today as basic as fuck.
  19. I can certainly see how in a two hour Celebration of over forty years in music Cherish simply failed to make the cut.
  20. I actually really like that it is NOT massive or huge. I may have to pick on up when I see her in LA.
  21. How about a confessions album that is written while on the road? Confessions On A Tour.
  22. I think the costumes for this tour are simply EPIC. Everything is so damn flattering and classically iconic. There are NO misfires here. Usually every tour has an outfit of so where I am left scratching my head. (With Madame X is was the opening outfit which I just somehow simply loathed for some reason. It irked me that she was wearing THAT for my favorite song of GOD CONTROL. That said, I liked the clothes for that show as well.) While all the wardrobe Celebrations are fantastic. To me there are four real stand outs. 1) The black Gaultier corset with the silver heels. (This wins as THE look for the tour. I simply love, love, love how classic this all looks in black.) 2) Nothing Really Matters opening outfit. Another great callback — also in black. It’s really a very striking way to begin the show and subconsciously remind more casual fans of where they have heard this song before with the nod to the video. It’s fun seeing her in such a one-off look from so many years ago which slyly introduces the concept of looking back. 3) Bedtime Story Silver Catsuit. Just a wow-zer in how utterly different it is from everything else and it is wonderfully futuristic in a way that both the title track and Ray of Light demands. 4) The Slip Dress from Bad Girl. Here is another great look that simply echos so many Madonna many eras. Plus the style is truly timeless and looks so great on her. I am really, really impressed with all of those that had a hand in helping her create the look of this fantastic tour.
