if she doesn't own the copyright to those phrases, and I don't think she does because she didn't write them herself, it's not possible to make any profit from these products.

I think her media presence is comparable to Madonna's... not for the same reasons and with the same narrative, but you literally can't escape her, there are reports about her every move... Just think of the whole story about her flight from Japan to the US for the Superbowl, even the Japanese embassy made a statement about it

I feel SO lucky that I was already a fan at that time, and I remember the controversy... I was 11, and this was before the internet, so news were much slower and I didn't have access to everything going on, some of my memories are probably mixed with what I found out later, but I remember the Erotica / SEX book era, such a big part of pop history.

It's not the first time she's gave a nod to Madonna.  I knew there was a reason I always liked this gal.  I've seen her in a lot of her movies and tv series.  She's great. She's a great actress.

Courtney has said way worse about pretty much everyone. Haha. Getting roasted by Courtney is an honour in my book. 

Well, in regards to TS, she is correct. Courtney has been correct a lot of the times. She taught us about Harvey, and she introduced and named “trolls” online, and was the first person to get sued from a Tweet — Courtney is Brilliant. She is her own enemy tho. 

When quoting a message that contains videos, it would be a good idea to delete the video tags.
It's distracting to scroll through a page with 5 videos replicated 5 more times!

Actually all those examples prove the point of @androiduser (exept for Nile Rodgers but honestly you cannot take any exemple of the 80's cause she was the young new worldwide sensation and she could have worked with anyone it would have been a success). Bedtime stories, Me against the music and Hard Candy are not as succesfull as Ray of Light, Music, Confessions etc.. when she worked with less maintstream producers.
