I don't think she has releases during 2018. This was the moment when I became a fan of her. Exactly 5 years ago this month, I started listening to her then I became a fan of her after I listened to Like A Prayer album, it became severe when I watched the Blond Ambition Tour posted on Youtube because of the LAP hangover. I remember being a hater of her before from when I was young. It just changed after I read a lot about her, listening to her music, watching her interviews, and tours as well. Happy 5 years to me being a fan of the Queen of Pop, wishing her a good health. Although I am not hoping she will visit Philippines soon for her The Celebration Tour, but seeing her healthy on pictures and kicking butts is enough for me. I will still support her no matter what. 💙 -

My mother likes Madonna, but she's not aware that I'm playing Madonna's record. She likes her because M has a soft voice and whenever I am playing her record, she doesn't even complain even a single bit. She even liked Ray of Light and she said that it is a great record for workout/exercise. Though I'm also a Lamb (a Mariah fan) but she doesn't like Mariah's record on the other hand. -

Imagining True Blue era Madonna recording Spotlight at the studio with her short blond hair on.

Well the album was recorded between september and december of 1985 and she had shoulder lenght blond hair then.

I think her hair was long when she recorded True Blue. At the press conference in London, when she filmed Shanghai Surprise, she said that she was in the process of mixing the album.
She cut it off when it was time to shoot the video for Papa Don't Preach and for the photo sessions with Herb Ritts for the album cover...
But I'm pretty sure she had that short blonde hair when she recorded the songs for Who's That Girl.

Was surprised to see a 12" Philippine Edit of Wake Me Up Before You Go Go being included on an Expanded Edition of their 2nd album "Make It Big". So that's the only 12" Extended Version that exist? Awesome.
While Madonna has Philippine Edits of Burning Up and Rescue Me which can be found on 7" releases.

Not satisfied with Wham's remasterings these days.

In this article, it says here that the rarest Madonna cassette tape ever made was The Madonna Collection 4 Cassette Set released here in the Philippines only way back 1987. I believe her demo tapes were the rarest ones.

Does Dolby Atmos is a must-have? Or am I just using a wrong software to listen to it?
I attempted listening to Dolby Atmos files especially to The Immaculate Collection through Audacity and it turned out preferring the stereo lossless version than the Dolby Atmos. What I just listened was the limit elements of a song (I tried it with Express Yourself)

Dolby Atmos is just some cheap way to emulate 5.1 in headphones for lossy music with proprietary encoding and decoding.
Do you have a 5.1 system? If you do, then you'll get something more than stereo out of those files played in Audacity. If you don't, I'm afraid you can't enjoy the full effect.
Anyway, they're lossy files, so of course the stereo lossless is better.
P.S. Popular and Vulgar are not good examples of the technology. Björk's Fossora Dolby Atmos sounds like regular 5.1 when played on a PC with a compatible audio system. But still very lossy.

I didn't expect that there's a website dedicated to Madonna's discography. I thought there's none and only Depeche Mode Fans who can only do this documentation.

I noticed just now that the remastered versions of Duran Duran's early albums are just crap. On the other hand, I prefer remastering of Depeche Mode's catalogue.

I just drag and drop them in Audacity (if it says unrecognised format or something, install ffmpeg) and export them as 5.1 FLACs. But honestly, Popular and Vulgar were not worth the effort, they're about as spacial as the Celebration DVD videos were.
