If she does decide to embark on a stadium tour, I think its important to curb our expectations. Not saying she can't put on an enjoyable show if she plans smart but her best days as a performer are gone, its important that she realizes her limitations and structures the show in a way that plays to her strengths. Above all, I want her to just enjoy herself and really feel the love and connection with the crowd. This is a golden opportunity for her to win back some favor with the general public, she and her management better not blow it because it might be her last chance.

I don't know what others think but as for myself, nothing sounds better than the biopic being canceled. Too much work and delay for what was ultimately going to be far from objective and a likely disaster with Madonna so involved in its creation. Now she can focus her energies on getting back in shape for performing and creating a new album.

I hope she is going to reinvent her method of live performances. No way she will be able to withstand a full tour of brutal choreography. She never did really recover from putting herself through such hell on the Madame X Tour.

Negativity and hate can be very different things. There are so many things I read here that make my eyes roll but why should one let that ruin their experience in a forum, those comments are not personal attacks on myself or Madonna. The whole point of a forum is discussion and seeing other opinions. It is a bit childish to let things random people online say upset you so much, it is not required to respond to every comment you disagree with and the fact you even have the time should make you rethink your life. As I said before, this narrative that this forum is just full of haters who want to criticize everything she does is just not accurate even if some people go too far in what they say sometimes because Madonna fans are passionate. Her recent pride performance was very well received in here along with things like the Elton John Your Song cover and her q&a. Nobody is being ageist or opposed to her working with artists of color, its just that this video for the remix she put out is polarizing because a lot of fans don't care for it which is perfectly understandable given its low quality. Not everything needs to be viewed as a personal insult or an attack on Madonna. When she puts out something its unfair to expect everyone to like it and then insulting those who voice their opinions with rude labels in a thread literally dedicated to discussing the topic. Elton Johns collaboration with Britney Spears was shit in my opinion, does that mean I hate everything either of these artists have ever put out? Do some of you actually think about what you comment beforehand because it sounds very very dumb.

Erotica is such an incredible album, a shame that it was overshadowed by the release of SEX during that time. Happy Anniversary to my second favorite Madonna record, I listen to it so often its become an old friend at this point.

Hyde Park and Pride are very different things. Sounds dumb to perform remixes at that type of venue and I seriously doubt we are going to see her headline this event in the near future.

I suppose the actual remix itself is fine in comparison to most stuff today but the video? the video is terrible in my opinion. How much mainstream pop music do you listen to? I ask because you would be hard pressed to find any big name artist dropping such a mediocre video and frankly the like/dislike ratio speaks for itself. I guess its not that big of a deal and we should just be happy Madonna seems to be creatively inspired again, her next album will be interesting for sure.

Everyone can like and dislike what they want, I just found it hilarious that you have been saying how you like this video and then started going off on how forgettable current pop releases are. The hypocrisy is a bit much sometimes.

Something has to be at a certain level before it can be labeled art, its not like we are debating the merits of a newly released studio album or anything. Its a remix with a mediocre video. Anyone can go around claiming everything they put out is art no matter how shitty so I think its important to have some standard. We can debate if Madame X and the videos that went along with it are good or bad art because it justifies that discussion, this video does not. Nobody, and I mean nobody with any sense at all would call this Hung Up video a piece of art even if you enjoyed it.
