LOL to those posting covers that resemble Madonna covers when we know as far back as True Blue, her covers were replicas of photoshoots/album covers. The True Blue cover was specifically done because Herb Ritts wasn't satisfied with Olivia Newton John's cover, so he wanted to do a similar shoot again with Madonna and nailed such an iconic image...

Exactly, the last several tours on their live concert releases, don't pretend it's just from one show. And let's not forget, nearly all of her tours released have been from more than one show. But the last several were intentional being some of the performances showed more than one guest showing up in certain songs.

I agree that is ridiculously priced. I remember in the late 80's I subscribed to Rolling Stone and paid that much for a year subscription. That being said, I'm guessing physical editions don't sell anymore, so offering an exclusive optional two cover of an iconic musician is there way of compensating for what they know will be a popular edition.

I sorta felt she outlined as if it started off as she was influenced by Portuguese culture/those living room ssessions and then it sort of blossomed to more of a world album, specifically latin culture. At the same time, she developed this Madame X character based on her supposedly being called that early on her career, only to run with that and made the character traveling around the world. But yes, the music is more specific to Latin cultural for the most part.

What was the circumstance for that? But it's probably not a bad idea especially in these times. It's a good question to know how much of a delay Madonna's broadcast will have?

LOL... but yeah, majority of broadcasts are on delay, just in case they have to censor something out (which probably won't happen here), but there's always a chance of something horribly going wrong and this will give them a chance to cut the broadcast before it's shown.

I'd pick both. And while I understand as hardcore fans we think, "why the same iconic image", but to be fair, these magazines are also to reach the general public. These two images are very much recognizable commercially. Sure, there are plenty of others, but I think this is a perfect way to feature her on the cover in celebration of her touring in RIO.

I can't begrudge or hate on her really. She's lead a totally different lifestyle as Madonna and maybe many of us. I do agree; I am surprised she's still alive because it appeared to me she had lived a very destructive lifestyle at times. If anything, I have to give her props for surviving. Obviously, there is a very interesting story to tell of her life. I would love to hear her version of it someday. At the same time, I try not to buy into all of what was fed to us by the media through the years. I do think the wild things she's said throughout her life, probably were bullshit as well and probably under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She's most definitely lived a very interesting and probably very scary life at times.

Yes, which is why I would think it's all intentional. It has a lot of filters and the "blurry effect". Anyway, I still think most of her video and photoshoots are stunning. But it's obviously this one was taking a piss at how crazy photoshopping was getting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this photoshoot and it's heavy editing/photoshopping the point? I agree it's not really a flattering shoot if it was to be taken seriously, but I don't think that is their intention. I felt like this photoshoot was sorta mocking the whole over editing/photoshopping. In fact, I always felt that's what Madonna sorta has been doing since she joined social media. I felt like a lot of what she does is to mock the whole process, to over saturate the format with ridiculousness that is always been before she joined.

I'm hoping it will be a quick release and we don't have to wait a year. I think that being Jonas is involved, it may turn out to be one of her best releases in a long while. I'm hoping they don't add a lot of crazy effects that aren't necessary as well a lot of weird vocal changes after the fact.

I did too. It's weird how they decided to change the concept and the name just because there was Timbaland song named similar. Her management/record company even shot down her releasing Candy Shop as the first single due to it's similarity to another song name. Then again, that probably was for the best even though I a big fan of the song now.

I doubt it's even getting a physical release. If we're lucky we could get a special vinyl release of the show like with MXT. That's if we go by what happened with the last tour.

Ultimately, I'll have to go with Bad Girl and NRM, but I really do like the acoustic moment with I'll Survive or Express Yourself. I also really thought RAIN and LTT are stand outs for me as well.

I don't believe she's going to perform the full Music performance as people are hoping. But I would agree it would make for a wonderful ending still. Nothing has been confirmed other than her full show making a last stop in RIO. The rest is speculation.

I agree on all accounts here. It's probably not happening, but I will admit that I'm one of those who was hoping this would happen. I guess we'll see, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Though I still believe something is coming later this year for LAV 40th. What that is? Who knows?

Ok, that makes more sense. LOL! I googled to make sure, because I know how some get anal about things here, but I'm happy to know that this was merely a mix up of actresses. I understand because I can see how both actresses could be mixed up.
