I think it has to do with Kylie’s new album. Even though I don’t listen to her a lot and I stream Madonna quite a bit this Friday my Spotify was all about Kylie and the only way to see this release was by manually searching. Not every release has to be a a huge success. It’s more about consistency and accessibility of her catalogue

You can find the exact measurements on the Alpha Industries website. They really should add size charts for each product. The fits are very random and you never know what to expect.

Whatever they did worked great. I don’t have any of the 2012 black pressings to compare. But I did have the white and Sainsbury Like A Virgin and they both sound inferior to the crystal clear

Well when they released the clear editions some remastering was done and they sound much better than any previous pressings. I’m pretty sure this will be the same pressing on a different color…

I think you’re referring to Ari. He’s not a fan. He hacked her email and cloud, stole files and then sold them on the internet. Including demos of her upcoming album. Even though I love Ari and all the files he shared, I think he certainly deserved a prison sentence

Madame X broke even. She made zero dollars from it and was left with a broken hip. Don’t quote me on this but I remember reading that for previous tours she made between 100k and a million of net profit per show

Fever and IP were very hard to get so just the fact that they were reissued was a big deal. Like if MDNA was reissued on color vinyl with a high quality lithograph or printed inner sleeves. I’d be so happy for it. I think Madonna fans would be pleased with a similar boxset as Price’s Diamonds And Pearls. But I doubt we’ll ever get such an expansive release from Madonna

These are a few artists where the hardcore fandom is just as interested in remixes as we are: Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Kylie, Britney, JLO, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Depeche Mode etc. Remixes are a very important part of a pop artists body of work and even more so Madonnas who’s always put a lot of emphasis on them. From music videos to tours to GH albums, the remixes are everywhere, sometimes completely overshadowing the album versions.

Haha why do people get so angry over rumors or supposed insider info? I mean isn’t posting stuff like that the purpose of this forum? We can get the official statements on madonna.com

Rebel Heart has been consistently repressed and I’m sure it will again. So I would be patient. As for Hard Candy it depends what you want. I’m sure it will get repressed eventually but it’s unlikely it will be on splatter. It will probably be on plain colors. And I don’t think it will have the third disc and the cd. If you really want the original version I’m afraid you’re gonna have to look for a good deal on an original press

We do. The actual 7” edit of Boederline, that was available on the 7” record, is available to us in digital.

If the edit points match perfectly it means it’s the original. Nobody at Rhino would spend the time to perfectly match it. If anything they would fix it to sounds more seamless. Oftentimes the fade outs vary from source to source Remaster does not mean reconstructed by any means.

All of her albums except MDNA, AL and RH have been released on at least one non-black variant. But don’t worry, I’m sure more color variants are coming

Oh congratulations. I’ve had several attempts on all the formats (except in theater) since it came out and never managed to watch it all the way through. It’s too bad cause Madonna is great in it. But the movie as a whole is just a hot mess

If it was ever gonna happen it would have been announced on the album anniversary so we won’t know until the 27th
