  1. I just decided to step back in time and backup all my files on DVD-R again!
Man! HDD drives are so fragile and susceptible to be corrupted.

I've lost so many rare files ! I can't take it anymore. I'm buying a DVD-R tube next Monday !

I think the best idea today is to buy a cloud service to store all kinds of files. That's what I've done with all my Madonna audios and pictures. However, I still haven't stored all the videos which are way bigger.

@madgefan That's an option, too. I have a pro mega account.
But it's something that you have to pay for every single month....

And you know that one day FBI may come and close that page as it has happened already in the past so many times!
MEGA , as an example, also deletes files if you don't have time to access the account from time to time... If you check the CONCERT COLLECTION THREAD, many concerts are lost because of that :(

That's why I state : THE BEST WAY TO KEEP YOUR STUFF IS WITH YOURSELF!

I bought a blu ray drive and import the 50 GB blank blu ray discs from Japan as they are a good price from there. The blu ray discs can store so much more and are less prone to scratches than the dvd-r discs too.
