    Hey, everyone!

I know some of you miss Angle and Causing a Commotion in the FEL deluxe album so I decided to take matters into my own hands and do something to ease the hurt.

I've decided to remaster both the Dance Remix of Angel and the Silver Screen Single Mix of Causing a Commotion to match the remaster of Mike Dean, which is EQing and a shitton of compression.

But of course, included is also my remaster of the two songs, marked with "R-2022 Remaster" with less compression.

The best part? It is upscaled to 24bit/88.2kHz. :ahh:

Now, it's all yours. Enjoy! :D

I wonder why we got the maxis of Material Girl and Angel, but not the title track from Like A Virgin on streaming. Emily got ADHD.

If you're talking about what I think it's because the like a virgin single is not on anniversary still let's wait till October and maybe till them a reissue will be announced

You do realize Emily doesn't exist?  LOL!   Also, there is more to it than just some webmaster uploading her music/videos to platforms.  There is a process here (and I'm sure you know this).

And why not release things as the anniversary of the songs come along?  After all, it's not like it's a significant anniversary year. It's been 39 years for Angel/Into The Groove. It's not like they are specifically sticking to 25th, 30th, 40th or 50th timeline here.

I've said this before along with a few other members here, they are simply slow dripping these additions to keep things happening. If we just do it your way and get everything all at once, then there would be nothing new to update the streaming and digital platforms with, other than whenever she decides to produce something new.  This way, these platforms are constantly being updated, generating more traffic to them.

I know she doesn't exist lol but I agree I'm just impatient lol

That's quite interesting.  My guess is what some already mention that the remix got remastered for FEL for consideration to be included, but just didn't make it on the album. It would be interesting to see which CAC remix got remastered as I'm sure that was considered?

Also can Emily or Johann get off the anniversary stuff and start releasing singles by demand? We already get Cherish in August 1 why not Causing A Commotion in May?

Possibly the Silver Screen Single Mix

  6. Can someone do me a favor and write Emily or Rhino a message asking them to activate or put the right versions and artwork the Like A Virgin with Into The Groove finally? They put the Angel into the groove so they know it exists..also updated her Spotify Top Track list finally (Good!) So they can do it finally I hope

I also hate the 2024 remaster of "Material Girl" with all my guts.

"Angel" EP debut numbers on Spotify (first 24 hours):

"Into The Groove" is matched with the "Celebration" version, so don't pay attention to that one.

Not bad for a forgotten 1985 single that only hardcore fans know it's now on streaming. If only these ones had a little bit more of promo, like they did in the past when they first the singles reissues.

But at least we're getting them slowly bur surely.

I don't hate Material Girl 2024 Remaster but it's way too loud, the extended dance sounds more trebled than the original more bassy one
