  1. Fair enough... Truce. Wasn't trying to pick a fight, honestly. Just reacting to what I found to be a distasteful tone in your posts towards those who have a different opinion. All G 🤗
  2. Ahhh, I see. So you want to help reel in the wishful speculators and bring us back to some reality? Can you not see why some would find that condescending? You made your point clear. You don't think a surprise release is in the works... Got it. You're probably right. I think many who have speculated have also said as much, while speculating. To me, it seems we don't have any trouble processing reality. What I can't figure out is why you feel the need to keep jumping into the speculation conversation to remind us all how deluded and out of touch with reality we all are for speculating about the possibilities of a surprise spring/summer release. It's like you want to dominate the conversation. The point of my last post that you quoted was that speculation and wishful thinking are not the same as delusion... I've been following the conversation for a while now, and I haven't read anyone say that IN FACT a surprise spring/summer release is coming, and if they did say so, it seemed more in jest than anything else. So one more time, you don't think it's realistic or reasonable to think a surprise release is coming... Got it. You're probably right. This is reality. Now can you let the rest of us speculate without reminding us what reality is, since I don't think we have any trouble with understanding that without your input?
  3. I mean, I think this is the most likely scenario... I think we all kind of assume this. You know all the wishful thinking many of us have been doing for a surprise spring/summer release is innocent fun right? When did wishful thinking become synonymous with delusion?? Hoping and dreaming and asking "what if," doesn't have to be feared and dreaded... I mean, we worship the QUEEN OF POP who is still doing her thing in her goddamn sixties! What good is it to be Madonna stan and not be dreamy and hopeful about POSSIBILITIES? To be inspired and fearless enough to ask, "what if?"
  4. Oh, I forgot where I was going with that for a second there. Anyway, I thought it could be neat to address those doubts about M releasing anything new so soon after the CT... To SPECULATE WILDLY further, what do you think could be some positives for M to drop a surprise release now, or right after CT? I can think of a couple, ONE- it'd help to ride the wave of positive momentum and publicity she had from doing the CT and extend it further, giving a new release a better shot at actually doing decently with the general public- especially if there's a high profile feature attached to it. Two, as I said earlier, a release now would help generate more positive buzz and excitement around the upcoming Brazil gig. Any other positives you could think of? Negatives?
  5. Anyway, a lot of the doubt about a new release coming up sooner than we think seems to surround the idea that M doesn't historically jump right into a new promo cycle after completing a tour. To my knowledge this is absolutely true. And tbh, I thought, and perhaps still think this is probably true... It wasn't until the free mega gig in Brazil, and the Deezer snippet that is inexplicable and bizarre that my head started spinning with WHAT IFS... To be clear, I'm gone hedge my bets and say it's probably nothing, and we could very well be in for a long wait until new Madonna music (😭), buuuuuuuuut.... Wouldn't it be just wonderfullly GAY if she did end up releasing the track she did with Max Martin, which he described as very 80s sounding, as a way of generating additional buzz for the Brazil gig?! Unless she hated the track, or is saving it for a future release, she gonna have to release it sometime. And to roll off of that, what if the snippet we heard on Deezer IS that track???
  6. Two things, ONE- does M really need to make money at this point? And two- couldn't you apply everything in your argument to the idea of a free concert- like the one coming up in Brazil? Yes, the bill is being footed by a bank and a variety of sponsors, but could you not just as logically argue that that could also apply to a new track? That it's brand building? That it's longer term investment in keeping M's brand relevant... Or better yet, one could even reasonably speculate that the sponsors for the gig WANTED a new track to coincide with the free gig to drum up greater anticipation from the general public!
  7. Further speculation, IF Madonna didn't reject the Martin song and scrap it altogether, then she had to have purposely decided to not release it alongside or during the Celebration Tour. Martin described the track as very 80s sounding, so one would imagine that it would have worked very well with the theme of the CT. So if she is planning to release it at some point (hopefully sooner than we think!), then there had to be a reason she didn't use it with the CT promo cycle. I can think of a couple possible reasons why- The track simply wasn't ready yet... She wanted the CT to be just her back catalog and nothing else.... And/or the new material was worthy enough of standing on its own and she wanted a separate release AFTER the tour, which coincidentally is the period we now find ourselves in. Let's not forget that the CT evolved out of the biopic project. I speculate that as she was working on the biopic, M became very absorbed with the idea of telling her life story. When that project fell through and/or got put on the back burner, I think she felt like she just had to run with the whole telling MY LIFE STORY thing, and lo and behold- she described the CT that exact way. I bring up that point because the fact that she did the CT doesn't mean she doesn't have enough worthy new material from her session(s) with more than one producer in the past few years, or that she has rejected the idea of ever releasing them. It could be that she was juggling two projects at once (telling her life story, and the release of new material), and she opted to keep the projects separate and release them sequentially. Seems logical, no?
  8. I guess to make it more relevant we can pivot the discussion toward more rampant and explicit speculation. I'll get the ball rolling (again all for fun, not to be taken too seriously as some kind of pop gospel of THIS SHALL BE HAPPENING!) Mysterious clue number 1: The snippet from the music streamer Deezer, who is an official sponsor of M's upcoming mega gig in Brazil) uses a sample of an obscure, ie not at all popular, Ukrainian song from the late 90s... No other tracks (remakes or remixes) of this song have been uncovered by the M online community. So if it is a remake or remix that has nothing to do with M, it would have to be by another artist of an unyet released track, because this snippet contains all new production that obviously takes the "doo wee do wop" line from the original Ukrainian song into a decidedly 80s pop direction. Why would Deezer use THIS track, when as a music streamer and official sponsor of M's gig, they could use anything from her catalog? Intriguing clue #2: Martin himself described the track he did with M as VERY 80s sounding 🤔 Tantalizing clue three: A day after the snippet from Deezer's social post, M's photographer posts a pic of her in the recording studio behind a microphone. Then his next post says, "Unexpected surprise" next week Stimulating clue forty hundred B: whenever M is about to release new music, my nipples get so hard they could cut glass. And JUST THIS WEEK, I've ruined at least three tank tops... Coincidence?? 🤔
  9. As I speculated (😘) elsewhere, I think it's reasonable to assume that there had to be a discussion at some point about the new material M created with Martin, Sick Kick and any other producers she may have worked with that we know nothing about, and whether or not to release these before, during or after Celebration Tour. As Donna said in the New Album thread, it's possible that she hoped to use them as promo material before the CT, but ultimately rejected these tracks. That's what I had assumed too. But man if that Deezer snippet ain't got the wheels in my head spinning! I know it really seems silly to interpret that wee bit of NOTHING as somehow a possible new M track, but you gotta admit- the circumstances surrounding it are odd to say the least, and THE SOUND!! my god the sound of it just so perfect. If it turns out it ain't a new M track after all, I hope someone on her team is paying attention to how fans have reacted to it! I haven't read a single comment from anyone here that said they didn't like it, but then again, all the comments seem to center on whether it's her or not.
  10. Isn't it funny that were saying the same thing in different ways? 😆🤣 You're saying it's possible that M is releasing new music at some point, but unlikely that it's coming any time soon. Others, like me, are saying the exact same thing, but asking, what if it's sooner than we think... My point is, to wonder if it's sooner than we think isn't as crazy-ass as some are seeming to make it out to be. And, btw, Isn't t saying M's DEFINITELY not releasing new music Any time soon, or that she's definitely not going to release the work she did with Martin or Sick Kick because we haven't heard anything about those tracks for a while- isn't this speculation too? (Sick Kick was the other producer I described- who specifically mentioned "originals" as different from remixes)
  11. I'm really surprised at the level of cynicism here on the topic of a new M release! I understand the hesitation to accept that a surprise release will happen very soon, as I do agree that that seems unlikely (though I hope not!) But some are acting like the speculation about a possible surprise release from certain clues is coming from a tinfoil hat wearing, conspiracy theory loving, wishful thinking, seeing Madonna on a piece of a toast, crazy-ass fringe group... And I don't get that simply because WE KNOW SHE ALREADY MADE NEW MUSIC. This has been freaking confirmed from official sources - her co-producers have even described the work! So why is it so bizarre to speculate about when she intends to release it? Why is it so unbelievable to see certain clues and wonder if the time is closer than we thought? I personally don't know if a surprise release is coming. I have my doubts too. But there are so many tantalizing clues this time around that perhaps the new material is on its way sooner than later. After all, unless she totally scrapped everything she has already made, she's going to have to release it at some point. And if she hasn't scrapped it, the question is not if, but when.
  12. Babe, we are ALREADY DISAPPOINTED from having waited so long for new music! Especially when we KNOW from M's own posts that she has made new music... All this speculation is exactly just that, SPECULATION.. I haven't read anyone on this forum say that FOR SURE new music is coming soon. We are all just interpreting certain things in a certain way and asking, what if???
  13. Now that I got that out of the way, I want to SPECULATE WILDLY 😆 IF, and I know it's an IF, there is a surprise new release on the way very soon, I think we have to wonder if the timing was the plan all along. By that I mean, we know from M's own social media posts that she was in the studio with multiple producers (Max Martin, Sick Kick) during the same time or very near the time she was planning and working on Celebration Tour. If those sessions lead to new music that is release worthy, there had to have been a point where there was discussion on the team of whether to release the new material before, during or after the tour. If that discussion did happen, we know the obvious answer- wait till after. Prior to her illness, the tour was meant to wrap up much earlier. So, what if the plan (prior to hospitalization) was to do the tour, then release new material in the Spring/Summer? That would have given M a break in inbetween projects. Since the illness, and the tour postponement, the question arises, should they also push back the timing of new release, or keep it going anyway? Hopefully an answer is on the way! (Also hope I'm not wrong AF with all this speculation 🤣... Sounds reasonable though, right???)
  14. Yeah yeah, we know, we know... But, like others have said, as long as M is still actively creating new music, it's going to be true EVENTUALLY! 😜 plus, if one is being reasonable, you've got to admit that it's entirely plausible given the recent clues... Plus, it's FUN to speculate!! After all, what better a place to do that than here, a fan forum! An era of new Madonna music is milestone in ALL our lives as super fans... And we know that there are more of them going back than there are going forward 😭 so, you can't blame those of us who prefer to read the signs in a way that gives us excitement and hope.
