I've decided to make this thread because here there are many fans who follow Madonna from the beginning and also because I like to know the overall opinion. He must agree that the last three Madonna's albums are nothing than a commercial Pop, with no feeling, like the older songs used to have. Althrough Rebel Heart changes a little in that term, but it has a part of the album that is so saturated. (I love Unapologetic Bitch so much, why it wasn't a single?? ) We already know that Madonna doesn't like to repeat herself, but I really hope she does something like Ray of Light meets COADF. I also hope that her time, here in Portugal, really inspires her to do something new and different, from the filler MDNA and Rebel Heart. For example, something that contrasts powerful and peaceful like Ray of Light, and something romantic and danceable, with so much meaning on its lyrics like COADF. (AGAIN, WHY FORBIDDEN LOVE AND ISAAC WEREN'T SINGLES? ) In terms of touring, I wouldn't change anything, as Madonna is always outdoing herself. What do you expect?

So been thinking about maybe some ideas or what not for the next era, months from now or a year from now regardless. Back in 2014 she had some hair styles I like when she worked with Tom Munroe. I think she looked great with her hair up in the Flappers Segment of Rebel Heart, really worked. The whole hair down and loose is ok, youthful in some places, but sometimes it looks tired or too overworked. As far as concepts, Rebel Heart may have come around organically, but the juxtaposing two concepts like Hard Candy was pretty meh, despite working out okay. Rebel Heart was also self-reflective and nostalgic and very career heavy. I'd like the next album to go in the direction pioneering or atleast resting on itself, strong lyrics driven from new ideas. She's never really sung about family life outside her husbands, and the kids maybe once with Little Star (specifically to Lordes). I like the idea of a "Black Rose" kind of persona. The romantic Madonna versus the hazardous Madonna. The lovely rose and its many thorns. I'm not pinning this idea to the whole album but maybe to a single. Any ideas or hopeful thoughts anyone? Feel free to share ideas about a new Madonna Era, from clothes, hair, tours ideas, and ofcourse album material!

So I just feel like new music is around the corner, maybe closer to beginning of next year but still, I can't wait! But just in the spirit of new music, what sounds do you all think would work? She played with a smidge of reggae in Unapologetic B*tch, which was fresh and worked. I'm hesitant to suggest trap, as I've heard some good and bad remixes of her songs in Trap style. I also feel that'd land her back in the desperate seat. I'm not sure what underground style are going on right now that could use her brilliance to drag them into the limelight. I also feel that politics (for better or worse) may become the meat of some of the songs, but I think she needs to pull a page from Rhianna and simply do some dance songs that will be basic enough to be relate-able to but with some Madonna character and new twists.

So I'm looking for advice, help, or whatever on an issue. I'm making a compilation called Veni Vidi Vici, but I'm wanting to use some songs from her early albums that have not been redone since their release. I've been using Audacity to working with mixing and editting music for a year now but the thing have yet to fully understand is reworking old untouhed song up to current music standards. Take Angel for example. I can boost with bass, treble, and even amplify but they just don't sound like what we get in Celebration when they revisited older songs (when they did it right that is). Anyone know how I can restore, or whatever you want to call it, old songs and get them sounding fresh?

So I had this brilliant idea for something of a ballad compilation that draws from all her works, as opposed to simply the next half after Something to Remember. But anything compilation wise for Madonna really ought to have a twist or something interesting. So for my idea (tentatively called Messiah) I was thinking of two disks. The Two disks coincide with each other and either played first. The thing that separates them is the tone of the ballads on them. The first disk being filled with light, airy, and happy ballads while the second of filled with darker, mysterious, and sadder ballads. Light vs Darkness. So, I was gonna make a remix album (not my own remixes) from those remixes released with Ray of Light's singles. I once heard that some of the remixes sound really experimental and may have been meant for the remix album. However, would it have just Ray of Light remixes or would it have been more You Can Dance, collecting songs up the current album and stringing them together in a dance medley? Tell me what you think would have been on it and what era range.
