Hmmmm, look at the Aussie release and compare it with the French one....... Aussie (and NZ probably) get postcards and the French get CD promo pack...... I hope they'll do something more for us down here lool......omg. But then again, not many people will get their hands on the French release, I suppose....... if they start selling it on Ebay it will go for a lot of money.

Other than the Grammy Awards, I'm wondering about her promotional appearances in the States? She's possibly focusing on rehearsals for the live perform before she does the talk show circuit, but she really needs to do a full out media tour in the Status...the morning show, and late night talk show, hell...even the vocal talent and dancing show. An Oprah interview wouldn't go astray either.

Too bad the promo tour isn't happening. It would have been such an awesome way to kick off the album. I hope she does something for the album launch. Even if it's online or something.

Madonna set to promote Rebel Heart and "Living For Love" at Grammy & BRIT Awards
Madonna, otherwise known as the Queen of Pop, or to those disbelieving doubters, the best-selling female artist of all time, is redefining herself once more. Yet the music is not the biggest makeover.

Just yesterday, Madonna released the new music video for "Living For Love", the lead cut off her thirteenth studio album, Rebel Heart. Remember hearing Amy Poehler joke at the Golden Globe Awards in 2014 when she uttered 'Enjoy it while it lasts, Netflix, cause you're not going to be feeling so smug in a couple of years when Snapchat is up here accepting best drama'? Well, the reality is setting in; "Living" premiered exclusively via the application, Snapchat.

The partnership puts Madonna once more in the frantic youth, technology-obsessed cyber world, allowing a simple video premiere, to an already leaked track, to boast and trend on social media sites. Snapchat has only been around for three years but already boasts 200 million users and an estimated worth of $10 billion. By the middle of last year, the company claimed that its users were sending over 700 million photos and videos per day.

Hugh McIntyre of Forbes said 'Even after all these years, Madonna is still finding ways to innovate and present her art to the masses'. He adds 'Joining with Snapchat is beneficial for both Madonna and the messaging app, even if it sounds odd at first. Snapchat’s biggest segment of users are millennials, the group that Madonna is trying to reach most, with mixed results so far. While she’s been a massive star for years, Madge has had a hard time connecting with the younger crowds, those who don’t appreciate the legacy she’s left and her staying power. On the other side of things, the prospect of a new Madonna music video, especially the first from a new album campaign, might be enough to convince older fans to download Snapchat, increasing their total number of users'.

The design of Madonna's costume is by Lebanese born Shady Zeineldine, which is made up of a custom matador bodysuit, nude satin stretch corset, a black chiffon silk top and satin tie.

The video was directed by French duo Julien Choquart and Camaille Hirigoyen, together known as J.A.C.K, edited by Danny B. Tull, choreographed by Megan Lawson, and styled by B. Akerlung.

Matthew Jacobs of The Huffinton Post said of the video premiere 'Madonna presents herself as queen of the big top without relying on allusions to her own résumé to prove she is the master of the postmodern pop scene. This is the Madonna video we've waited a decade for'.

Now, the video is on YouTube and Vevo (see below). "Living For Love", with its intricate choreography and special effects, is simple in meaning. Madonna, as a matador, finds the inner strength to fight negativity; label them leakers, naysayers, or bulls.

This is the performer's first crowd pleaser in a while. Not to say her previous singles have not found different levels of success, but as she continues in the music industry, the masses expect the reigning pop queen to remain in the inspirational realm.

"Masterpiece" did just that when she won a Golden Globe, as part of the soundtrack to film W.E.. But it has been a while since her singles, "American Life", "What It Feels Like For a Girl", or anything from Ray of Light, connected on a level of wisdom and sincerity which often lacks in popular music (this is not to say her followers, and critics alike, do not enjoy the self-referencing and humorous M in "Give Me All Your Luvin'", "Turn Up The Radio", "4 Minutes" and "Beautiful Stranger").

As the video ends a quote appears: 'Man is the cruelest animal. At tragedies, bullfights, and crucifixions, he has felt best on earth; and when he invented hell for himself, that was his very heaven' -Friedrich Nietzche

Rebel Heart's release on March 10th is an opportunity for the artist to maintain and extend many records, in an already-known shaky music industry. So far, she has the longest streak for a solo female artist of back-to-back studio albums debuting and peaking at the top of Billboard 200. The record is five, from 2000's Music, to 2012's MDNA. Her overall total is eight number-one albums, second only to Barbra Streisand's ten. Not to say a number-one is everything. The aforementioned ROL peaked at number two on the album chart, despite being considered one of her most beloved albums.

In the UK she has a record twelve number-one albums, excluding only studio albums Madonna, Erotica, and Bedtime Stories.

Although Madonna performed at the Grammy Awards last year as a special performance with Queen Latifah, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert, her last promotional showing at the ceremony was in 2006, when she promoted "Hung Up" alongside the Gorillaz, in hologram form, and De La Soul. Previous to that, she was there in 2001 promoting "Music" with Lil' Bow Wow. On Sunday's Grammy's telecast, she has been billed as the potential show opener.

Later this month will also see her performing at the BRIT Awards for the second time, and first time since 1995. The show is slated for February 25th.

A Rebel tour is likely to be announced later this year, since that is the biggest money-maker of her deal with Live Nation.

Madonna is often seen as one of the biggest pop music allies of the LGBT community.
