It would have to be some type of career defining performance. Like previous people said maybe a soundtrack. Just the right place, right project, right timing... anything can happen it just needs to be magical and special

She might get small hits... but not likely to have a top 5..or number one hit again anytime soon... she will not get that without major support from radio and she does not have that.

I'm not sure what radio support Madonna gets in other countries but in the UK there's zero on the popular radio stations, it's so frustrating especially when you hear all the same generic crap.

More or or less the same here in Denmark.. most radio stations are not really playing her... except from a few of the old classics.

Madonna has almost 3 millions of suscribers in Youtube for Ex ..and they stop watching the videos, and fans are not supporting her for last 15 years, except us. we are a little group now. sorry

New pop divas and stars have about more than 20M ... and they play every video Up 50 M in a week and month. madonna fans CAN'T DO IT.

It's not about ageism, radio, Industry, etc... she is an ICON and Legend... with less people...

Madonna was battling with Bruce for a top 1 album in UK, we are talking about  around 25000 and 35000 in sellls in UK.. we are talking about exactly NOTHING in terms of music for BOTH "stars" female or male ... these aren't REAL sales for real Stars ...

I will say it again ... It's not about ageism, radio, Industry... it's about REAL fans and success like Madonna had in the past... She is relevant because she is an ICON and a Legend, but she CANT do it in this streaming era.

It's not about the producers, we asked por Orbit and Mirwais few years ago... we finally had them!

We must stop asking for old stuff, it's no working (And Madge read us, believe me...LOL) ...NOT Shep or Price. The result will be the same than Orbit or Mirways.

She only can make a #1 collaborating with real stars from today, like Taylor, Gaga , Katy... it's the only way I can see it...

I agree it’s sad but it was bound to happen sooner or later. Very few artists her age release single that even chart. Maybe we expected her to forge that path as she has before but this doesn’t take away her legacy. I’m just glad her albums still reach the top 5 of charts worldwide.

Uhm, and how is she supposed to reach new fans if the radio doesn't play her? Especially the type of radio stations who cater to you younger audiences who stream (i.e. BBC Radio 1)?
