I'm sure she took them a bunch for her hip pain. But no one who has become addicted to prescribed opioids has done so intentionally. I really hope that's not the case here, but Lola's comment certainly stirs the pot and adds a whole new layer to this discussion.

Yes. That reddit thread was the one I was referring to earlier when talking about the scathing comments outside of this forum. There was no doubt in that thread. Thousands of comments. Is reddit the entire internet or world? No....but still. Refreshing is not the right word, but I felt better about my suspicions being clear as day to many, many people.

Yeah, not refreshing...but validating. Because it's very clear to 99.9999% of people outside of this forum that something is very wrong. 

There are Prince fans to this day who believe it's a big conspiracy that he died from drug use. Some fans here won't be convinced, even if the evidence is there. We seem to have all forgotten the dozens of pill bottles behind her in her bathroom during the beginning of Covid.

She may be monolithic, but she's also human, and she's from a family with a very long history of addiction. I just hope and pray she's okay.
