This rumour comes back every year, just like Cannes film festival. Apparently it's not Madonna but Ariana Grande.

Seems like Ariana is filming an adaptation of Wicked right now, so it might not be her.

Back then it was mostly about male homosexuals, who were under major conservative attacks, and trans people were barely mentioned and were ostracized even by the gay community, suffering most injustice and violence. Do we know the first time Madonna acknowledged the trans community? Trans people were almost invisible in the 80's and the 90's when Madonna was fighting for gay rights.

? She spoke out about the AIDS crisis in general, she stood up for and celebrated lesbians, cross- dressers all during the 80s and whether she directly addressed it or not (and she probably did somewhere I’m not aware of) it’s clear she’s always supported trans people.

She also never spoke out about the plight of the aboriginals….

not sure why you are passive aggressive and rude? I am asking a question because I am specifically interested in the treatment of trans people withing the gay community at that time and how trans activism was perceived outside the queer circles. Trans people were largely discriminated against by white gay men at that time, and they were often excluded from the mainstream AIDS activism (which was largely handled by white homosexuals), and even from the more mainstream gay venues.

Can you point out where I was aggressive?

Please start from 1983 and read about Madonna until today. She supports the LGBTQ+ community as a whole...please don't make something out of nothing. And "read the history" 🎵🎵🎼

All this talk about Patriarchy is getting old (not to mention false).

I support her message but women can be just as toxic as men, just like alot of men have come up with solutions, policies, technologies, medical advances, regulations that have reshaped humanity. Not to mention supporting women along the way.

She makes it sound like she has no responsibility in this and the only people criticizing her are men (when most of it seems to come from women).

The world may focus on her power and her stamina if she perhaps allowed some of it to shine through.

One of the reasons Ive always related to her is because she could emote feeling and angst and fear and love and passion in her eyes, her face, her smile.

When I cant read those emotions on her face anymore, when I cant even tell if SHE feels her own music, then I disconnect and find it hard to re-connect to her and her music.

Dont fucking pass this off on a false narrative about Patriarchy and mysoginy. Dont blame me for not relating to a wax version of what you once were.

Dont blame the photographer who somehow made everyone else look normal that night.

Turn inward, and search for a reason why a visual artist would find it difficult that people focus on what they see.

It's like those women at the gym who complain they are sexualized but work out in their goddamn underwear. Take. Some. Responsibility.

We're all about rights. But no one looks at the other side of the coin: duty.

Dress however you want Madonna. Do whatever you want to your body. But dont attack me for no longer being able to relate to you because you look a plastic doll.

This can’t be serious
