My favorite part of this song is the "Who do you think you are" bit. I read it as having two different meanings as in asking someone who is putting you down "Who do you think you are?" and asking yourself "Who do you think you are?" 

You are telling them who you are but more importantly you are telling yourself who you are. 

You can also ask others in an encouraging way "Who do you think you?" 

It's not a vain song to me; to me it's a self esteem song. 

I also agree with Lucifer's angel about everyone saying Bitch I'm Madonna as this is who I am.
