All indicators point to a #1 debut for Madonna on next week’s HITS Top50. With a ticket bundle and D2C offerings fueling half of the opening total, expect Madame X to give Madge her first #1 since 2012’s MDNA.

Early reads:

Madonna (Live Nation/Maverick/Interscope) 80-100k total activity, 75-95k album
Bruce Springsteen (Columbia) 42-47k, 40-44k

To be honest, that's a relief !

And this is with us all buying three fucking copies of her album?!? Did BS release several different formats and covers? What would her sales look like with one physical release?!?

Bruce has only one.

Nobody is counting physicals here, it's about itunes and apple.

Diffrent digital releases never counted into one, so she was 2 (DELUXE) In USA & UK,  AND several positions these days into the top 50 to the STANDARD edition at same time...So,  if we add both releases she was 3 days in a row (and can still be) a Numbre one.

if you check the artist position , Bruce is very far of Madonna, except UK.

Anyway Madonna has more streeming in Apple than Bruce. and it seems in physical sales she is very high this week.

anyway... we are horrendous as fans... Taylor; Katy, Lady Gaga, Daddy Y...younger popular artists etc... they have STREEMING... this can change the Madonna 2010's Story

For ex:. Spotify.

WE HAVENT YOUTUBE STREEMS ! can we call us fans? 3 new VIDEOS ARE static there...!

IT'S well known that digital downloads are a llittle bit down since 2012 AND Physicals RETURNED TO BE Higher 'til these days...BUT!

STREEMING is very much important NOW ... no downloads, no physicasl... it's about STREEMING...Everybody can beat Madonna and Bruce just for making something in Spotify...In fact Lady Gaga is STILL UP THERE after 5000 weeks lol!

Check these: As Artist she is #8 GLOBAL right now (Spotify and Youtube make the difference comparing 1 to 7 positions) and Bruce has also the same problem... here:

WAKE UP... IT'S THE FUTURE Motherfuckers! LOLOLOLOL

She did it amazingly with the DELUXE Edition. not counting the standard as "gifts". So we get better possiblitilies for a 2nd week at least. btw. Medellin Remixes ep WAS ANOTHER HUGE SURPISE ...

This era is going better than MDNA... "Tour Gifts" made the difference in that release to get the #1 FOR just ONE week,  then she was dead....

Down to #4 in the US... I hate to say it but this will probably be a commercial flop by Madonna’s standards...

Down to 4 as in iTunes or actual sales?

I've read that Madonna is selling way more than Bruce Springsteen in the US but in the UK he's way ahead

On iTunes. Of course we have to wait for official reports on physical sales so there’s hope yet but I’m not putting too much faith in that widely posted prediction. I’m unfamiliar with the source (looking it up didn’t reveal much to me) but it was posted only two days after the release so it can’t be based on legit data.

Following the iTunes trajectory has been so disappointing. Just waiting for the week to be over and the charts to be published so I can move on. Commercial success doesn’t affect my enjoyment of the music but I’d lie if I said I didn’t care about it. Hoping for top 3 debuts in the US and the UK but I wouldn’t be surprised if she misses it in both markets. Then after a week of press celebrating her latest flop it will blow over.

I’m being dramatic, I know!

she seemed to have a big start on Australia and was No 1 all over the weekend and Monday on itunes but Bruce took over yesterday and still is over her.  Who knows how many presales she has compared to him. She on Denton tonight so that could give it a mid week boost.  But yes its going to be a close race.  She need at least a no 2 in the uk.  I dont think she has had a no 3 debut there

Who knew Springsteen had more fans than M ? This is so sad - but in the end she’s delivered a great album - erotica and ray of light never made it to number 1 in the US ?

How do you figure?  Madonna is set to debut at #1 in the US with DOUBLE Springsteen's sales, whom I also like, and she'll sell MUCH more than him Worldwide

Why do dramatic?

I-Tunes Charts are not everything. Still think she sold a lot more on Cd. And 1 or 2 on the Charts doesn't matter. Some Artists wish they had such success. A good album not depends on Sales imo. there are a lot of Album that doesn't reach the Top 40 and they are still better than some shit that wents @ 1 Spot!

The last Ed Sheeran was not that great there are only 3-4 good Songs on it.

That seems very low to me. Japan does not seem to care anymore for Madonna^^

And yet they get bonus tracks on her albums plus a bonus live performance of take a bow on the rebel heart blu ray which we all had to pay an arm and a leg for - I believe M would call that a paradox maybe ?
