Only ten??!!! It's impossible.

Ok, I love to dance with Madonna, and from 1983 to 2001 I prefer remixes and radio versions. After "Music" is rare to find remixes better than the album versions. So my list would be:

 

Burning Up (12'' Version)

Open Your Heart (Remix Edit)

Live To Tell (Edit) (yes, it's a slow song, but it's a masterpiece)

Where's The Party (Unmixed Remix)

Express Yourself (Remix Edit)

Fever (Edit Two)

Nothing Really Matters (Club 69 Radio Mix)

But in my humble opinion, a list with the "Madonna songs of all time" only makes sense with 25 or 30 songs. With only ten songs you can't understand her music. It's impossible

I personally don't find the two songs that bad...compared to other trash like Superstar, B-Day Song, Gang Bang or Give Me All Your Luvin!

My top ten changes minimally, usually those last five away. Like A Prayer in the last year or two has broken into my top ten. God Control and Crave swap back and forth but I love music that I can groove to and God Control does that. And the live performance in Philly sealed the deal for me. La Isla Bonita is usually in my top ten, but God Control kind of pushed it out.
