louis.exe 1,992
How would you feel if she did a Vegas residency I know years back she said she would never do it but she did say back in 1990 that after the Blond Ambition Tour that she would not tour after that and well she's done 8 tours since then so would you guys like that? Guest Nobody Knows Me
At this point, I think a residency would be more practical for her in terms of travelling and her knee injury, however I wouldn’t want it to be in Las Vegas. Everybody goes to Vegas and if she did her own residency, I wouldn’t want it to be on the same strip as half the music industry. Either New York or London could be a good location, and I just know she’d have her own theatre built for it.
Guest Ashley
I think it's the best option for her now. Yet I agree with @Nobody Knows Me that New York would be the preferred location. But you never know, M may change her mind and decide on a Vegas residency.
Guest Nobody Knows Me
I can see her doing a proper residency one day. World tours lasting eighty dates are not getting any easier for her after all, and I really can’t see her doing arenas without putting on her huge and physically demanding spectacle. However, I can’t see her doing a Las Vegas residency. When she did Tears of a Clown in 2016, she expressed her resentment towards working in Vegas. If she ever did decide to do a residency, I would be totally here for it, but I will be very shocked if she ever announces somewhere like Park Theater or Caesars Palace. I can see her doing London, New York, Lisbon or Paris.

Guest Nobody Knows Me
Candy Shop being performed wouldn’t bother me that much, she herself has pretty much turned it into a greatest hit, and I can’t see her ever performing 4 Minutes again. BeepBeepBitchMove 2,006
Do a residency in NYC on actual Broadway next time.
Guest Nobody Knows Me
I honestly could see her having her own theatre built for it, if she ever decided to do it. Honestly, it could be a good idea. Less exhausting, possibly bigger production if it means never having to take it down and build it back up again, and it would generate a lot of interest with the public. Guest Nobody Knows Me
Ok, here is a concept for a concert residency that would take place in 2022 to commemorate Madonna's fortieth anniversary in music. The residency would be held in New York City, as that is where it all began for her and it's something different. This is inspired by the ideas that @louis.exe gave so let me know your thoughts. MADONNA Queen Set List Act 1 Cabaret Overture (Intro) 01.Vogue 02.Open Your Heart 03.Dress You Up/Material Girl (Medley) 04.Borderline Act 2 Freakshow Secret Garden (Interlude) 05.Like a Virgin/Justify My Love (Medley) (contains elements of "Goodbye to Innocence") 06.Erotica (contains elements of "Human Nature") 07.Express Yourself 08.Deeper and Deeper/Living for Love/Rescue Me (Medley) (contains elements of "What Is Love?" by Haddaway) Act 3 Bereavement Till Death Do Us Part (Interlude) 09.Like a Prayer 10.Secret 11.Papa Don't Preach/Die Another Day (Medley) 12.Frozen (contains elements of "Teardrop" by Massive Attack) Act 4 Torero Spanish Eyes (Interlude) 13.Who's That Girl/La Isla Bonita (Medley) 14.Live to Tell 15.Don't Tell Me 16.Surprise song, changing with every date 17.Take a Bow/You'll See (Medley) Act 5 New York City Everybody (Interlude) 18.Into the Groove (contains elements of "Causing a Commotion") 19.Lucky Star/Physical Attraction (Medley) 20.Ray Of Light (contains elements of "No Good (Start the Dance)" by The Prodigy) 21.Music 22.Hung Up Encore 23.Crazy For You 24.Holiday/Keep It Together (Medley)

I do like the idea of her performing one-off gigs in small venues perhaps. It'd be great to see her performing some of her best and most loved albums by fans (Like a Prayer, Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light etc) in venues such as O2 academies, like she did with the Music album launch at Brixton. Guest Nobody Knows Me
I could not see her doing a residency in the same place for years, like some artists tend to do. I imagine if she did ever do a residency it would either only last for a few months, or be a travelling residency like she’s doing now with the Madame X Tour. bedtimestory 758
This will be the BEST time for that, since resdencies are ''in'' and very succesful these days. Britney, JLo, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Xtina Aguilera, Janet, Mariah etc...had nice vegas residencies. The only reason I think Madonna will be hesitant, will be because residencies are mainly greatest hits, and Madonna dont like doing the usual hits anymore. Heres an Obvious/Expected RESIDENCY SET LIST : * Human Nature / Candy Shop MEDLEY (Opening number hahahahhahahaha!) * Holiday * Lucky Star * Boderline * Like a virgin * Material girl * Into the Groove * Papa * La isla * Like a prayer * Vogue * Deeper and deeper * Take a bow * Frozen *Ray of * Music * Hung Up * Give it 2 me * Medellin * God control Voguerista

Also, a lot of acts who go to Vegas have a career resurgence. The thing is; in the past (after the Rat Pack era), Vegas was known where those who no longer had a career would go. Though that has changed over the last decade or so. Celine Dion was on top of the world when she started her Vegas Residency. And her latest album is gaining a lot of attention these days. Also, I feel Elton John's residency has given a resurgence in who he is as an artist. A movie and his DIamond Greatest Hits have both been huge hits. As for Madonna, I am not sure she would be willing to do such, but I can see her doing a residency in a few big cities. She seems to prefer going place to place. She's come close with a residency with doing the Madame X Tour. Though, Vegas is the place where most people go for Residency acts. I do think in the near future, for the right price, she would do it.
bedtimestory 758
Oh and I forgot : She won't do it because venues require AIR CONDITIONING, and Madonna hates A/C ! You cant have a packed venue in vegas without a/c ! Gonzalo
Rory 856
No Vegas please! I see her doing more limited tours in major cities (10-12 stops) with less stage production (no steps, no moving parts). Her with a live band, lots of dancers and video/lights projections. That is what the Pet Shop Boys do and it is fantastic with their laser shows and fog machines. Also I see her to continue exploring smaller venues, broadway stages, art centres, and symphonic venues. Or ultimately she can do like Babs and host limited concerts (in the park) out of the blue with quality over quantity.

I remember reading once they offered her a $1 billion contract for a five-year residency in Las Vegas in 2010 so I doubt she’d settle for anything less than that. Besides, I do think New York would be a great venue since it’s where it all began for her, and I imagine a residency would be somewhat of a retrospective for her.
