I can get why Madonna decided to wear it... there was this lovely juxtaposition of backdrop colours and the light game that worked really well. Her blond hair also complemented the white outfit. I was at the Chile show and the only Transgression songs I wish I could see are GGW, Revolver, Gang Bang, and IDGA. I never liked what she did with Hung Up and Papa Don't Preach was a bit unnecessary. In general, the second section which was divided into 2 acts with 2 different costumes never really made any sense to me lol I guess M thought about the 'coming together' idea but wasn't sure of what songs would go better together. The Masculine/Feminine section is flawless, and adding Love Spent at the end of the US leg was just amazing. I have a problem with the last costume as it only looked great during I'm Addicted and Sinner. There are a lot more hits in the set list than acknowledged — It’s the weird mixes she did that ruin a lot of them. Only a few minor changes I would have made: * Full Papa Don’t Preach * Remove Hung Up from the 1st segment; replace with Die Another Day and same staging / slackline choreography * Physical Attraction in place of Candy Shop — Still has elements of Erotica and same staging * Like a Virgin sung with a recognizable melody; still in a slow waltz form * Hung Up (Benny Benassi Tour Mix) after I’m Addicted — Something kinda like the Alesso Remix * Beautiful Stranger after Hung Up (with an I’m A Sinner bridge and Cyberraga outro) * Mashup Celebration with Holiday at the end — No one knew Celebration, and she could have used the S&S Holiday mix as a starting place I struggled with Masterpiece — I’d have removed that and gone for a slower song (maybe a similar Frozen mix as Madame X?), but I’m trying to be realistic here. The way I see it: 1 - GGW: The girl just want to go wild, have some fun and shit like that. 2 - Revolver: Flirting with the danger, girl. Her love's a revolver, right? 3 - Gang Bang: Shit just got real. 4 - PDP: She fucked up and she's very aware of it. She's on the floor begging "papa don't preach, I'm in trouble deep" and that's it. That's why - for me - she sang just a piece of the song - there's no need for the part of "I'm keeping my baby" and the rest of it. It would make no sense. 5 - Hung Up: Devils coming for her. She's walking on a wire - literally. For me, she is just paying for the shit she did, suffering, regreting... 6 - IDA: After all... Like a fenix, she rise! And giving zero fucks, 'cause she's cured, let the past in the past, and that's it. Period. 7 - BF (Interlude): Well... Even tho she payed for her sins and everything... You know - The melancholy/the regret/the wounds remains forever. I think this interlude it's a reminder of that. So... This first act I never would change. The rest... Basically everything. It’s my No.2 most favorite Madonna tour after Confessions and the best show I’ve seen live in my entire life. What I’d add/change is add Love Spent from the start, along with Falling Free, Beautiful Killer, Die Another Day, Superstar, Some Girls and I F*cked Up, and I’d replace Candy Shop with Erotica or Justify My Love (album versions).
