wenxiusi 69
I really like the RHT setlist. I would just add Hold Tight and Wash All Over Me somewhere... The main thing that bothers me in this tour is her hair during the second act. That hair is atrocious Voguerista

Guest Nobody Knows Me
I really love this tour and it was nice that she included some more older songs in there as well. Please note I’m not trying to re-write her career or anything but if I were to re-imagine it, maybe something along the lines of this. MADONNA Rebel Heart Tour 2015-16 Act 1 Samurai 01.Revolution (Intro) 02.Iconic 03.Bitch I’m Madonna 04.Gambler 05.Hold Tight Act 2 Sacrilege 06.S.E.X. Guest Ashley
The Rockabilly section was the only part I really enjoyed on the Rebel Heart tour. I think that's mainly due to Deeper and Deeper. What I didn't like about the tour was her appropriation of Asian and Latin culture in a stereotypical way. It was the same tired Geisha/Samurai and Matador/Isla Bonita thing again. She could have done some real unique concepts with incorporating a modern Latin theme into the show instead of using tired tropes and even better still she could have even explored her own French cultural roots as well; instead of the Latin quarter, it could have been the French quarter. I would love a French inspired section on a tour. It’d be so fantastic to see. And I do agree, whilst it was highly enjoyable, some sections felt a little recycled. Guest Ashley
It's like with the Madame X tour, the only reason she can get away with the Fado club, is that it's incorporated into the Madame X narrative. If she plonked a Fado section into a concert the way she did with the Samurai/Geisha Matador/Latin Quarter it would look clumsy as it pretty much did on the Rebel Heart tour and also with the Scottish dancing and Kilts in the Reinvention Tour. I don't have a problem with M incorporating different cultures into her performances, yet you have to be smart and avoid stereotypes or turn stereotypes on their head. With the religious section of Rebel Heart, because it was mostly based on Catholic Italian culture, she could get away with that no problem, it was her own cultural roots she was using as part of her own artistic expression. If Christopher still had influence on her concerts etc... I think we would have seen her incorporate different cultures, yet in a more sophisticated and intelligent way. WeYo 671
I kinda liked it the way it was (is) ... well I'd lose "Don't Tell Me" and from your set list also "Ray Of Light" like --- save it to the next GH album (only). Both good songs but she really needs to do other songs too ... kinda over with some of those already -- open up the F' window .. for once
dylanlioncourt 5,774
The first act has always bothered me how it is pretty much incoherent. Two separate sections since it feels crammed.
eXtremeOccident 2,467
Sorry, RHT fanatics, but I think this is hands down her corniest and worst tour. Only show I left disappointed. I would have redone the whole thing — It’s very clear from rehearsal videos that a lot got nixed from this tour, and to this day, I believe that the “production delays” were required so that she could redo the show due to budget constraints, since shows didn’t have had up selling out. There were big gaps in between cities, which obviously existed in case subsequent dates could be scheduled (which ended up happening in few cities).
