Am I the only one who truly likes Rebel Heart? It's 10 times better than MX (Madame Mess should be it's title) and MDNA (which I like despite some horrible songs like Some Girls, B-Day Song... Like, what the hell was she thinking when she sang those craps??)

As for the ones who dislike Like a Prayer, Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Confessions: bitches I can't relate and I would really like to understand how you all had balls to choose those perfect albums hahahahahaha

I hate Erotica because this album was a very bad album. The sound was horrible, look the title-track, this is was worst single of all time, i hate the vocals (she nearly never sing in the song). She nearly never sing in 1/3 of the album. And look Thief of Hearts, depiste this sound will be same of the remix of Paula Abdul, Opposites Attracts, the Paula abdul remix was better to Thief of Hearts. Words was also very better of the demo version. I listen in Youtube Where's life Begin in instrumental in Youtube, because the Madonna vocals performance destroys the beauty of the sound of the song. I only listen Deeper and Deeper, Rain, Why's it so hard and In this Life (the last, the music was not very good, but the lyrics help to up the sound of the music) with good pleasure.

Like a prayer, i didn't like this album the first time, outside Like a Prayer, Express Yourself and Oh Father, but it groow up and now, i like very well this album. this album was the maturity of the artist, this album took a huge risk. The songs growing up and i listen many times now. Till death to us Part was a perfect exemple of genius, this will my favorite song of the album (aside the title-track), depiste the lyric was very dark, the music was very happiness and the bridge included beautifuls harmonies.

Oh, I love Erotica so much, it's one my fave eras of hers.

The lyrics, the sounds, everything's perfect in this album (except for Where Life Begins, Waiting and that crap called Did You Do It?). Erotica gave us her best music video ever: BAD GIRL

1. MDNA - awkward, lifeless and just all over the place. All of the songs are rejects and it's hard to go through this album without cringing.

2. Madame X - This definitely had more involvement from Madonna than MDNA, sadly she has shown that in terms of songwriting, she has completely run out of ideas. The melodies and lyrics are half-baked, the production on the vocals is an absolute tragedy. There was no need for the vocoder. It sounds tragic.

3. Erotica - This album is just downright overrated. All of the songs sound like demos and the album has aged terribly when compared to her other 90s albums. The album is too long and it's lacking of strong and catchy melodies. The "talking" gets tiring and the whole thing sounds like the soundtrack to a terrible softporn/b-movie.

Same review for me, but depist this album was a very bad album, only few songs was good on this album. Deeper and Deeper, for his inovation, to combinated the Disco-House with Latino, with the strongs lyrics about the homosexuality, this will be the perfect choice of single and also the best song of the album, Rain is a love song and the same style of her ballads like Live to Tell or Oh Father and the music video was a art (one of my favorites music videos), Why's it so Hard for his universal message of love and her darker ambiance of the sound of House, and In this Life, the ending was talking, but unlike other songs of the album like Where Life Begins or Waiting, it was perfect for that, because she address to all the peoples to lost of friends of AIDS with emotion (this song was her only song when i cry with Promise to Try and Oh Father) and it's like a monologue to talk the people about the AIDS, this song was one of her most sadness song of her career, this will more powerful when you listen her live version for the Girlie Show Tour

I have to admit that I don't hear the first two Madonna (The First Album, Lika A Virgin) albums very often. Of course there are good songs on it like "Over and Over" or "Everybody", but I don't like her voice like on "Like a Virgin" :-( Plus I'm not exactly a fan of the 80 years music.

American Life is also not one of my often heard Madonna records. Like I said, it's not bad and I love "Nothing Fails" or "Easy Ride", but it's just not my case.

Madame X

Rebel Heart

Hard Candy

All three are utter shite. I would add MDNA here too, but Beautiful Killer kinda saved it from dropping into my final three list

I would.
She wrote better material for vinyl.....and Cd.
There's so much cobbled together for her recent offerings she seems to lose the plot and not be able to tell which is the best stuff.
All this 'featuring' malarkey is second guessing who or what will be Pop-ular if she bungs them on a track.
Go back to song 'songs'....
What's she to lose ?

Erotica is her best thing since the first record.

1. MDNA - terrible album! Cheesy, childish, stupid ... but with a few good songs nonetheless (Falling Free, Masterpiece, Love Spent, Beautiful Killer)

2. Hard Candy - Not my taste, too much US radio friendly stuff

3. American Life - 4 of the 5 singles are boring and the only good one (Nothing Fails) got no video. Nobody Knows Me and Mother and Father are shite as well... the unreleased demos are much better (The Game, Set The Right)

In your opinion...

In my opinion it's one of the worst things she has ever done.

One of David Bowie's record producers told me a lovely thing on Facebook recently.
Opinions are like arseholes.
Everybody has one.

But you don't always wanna see or hear them from others.

1- Confessions on a dancefloor

IMO her most overrated album. There's some songs that I genuinely love (Get Together, How High) but I would say the majority of the tracks are pretty bland to me. I guess I just don't like disco music that much, I love her dance albums, but not this one. I do like the mixed version more than the one thats on streaming platform, I wish apple music had the mixed version, but either way I just find most of the songs boring.

2. Music

I don't dislike this album I just feel like something's missing and I rarely listen to it. It feels too short and lacking of Madonna's real personality. I wish she'd given us one more album in the vein of Ray of Light before moving on to a new sound.

3. Bedtime Stories

I do like this album, I just don't listen to it all that much. It's a nice cohesive vibe though, and tracks like Love Tried To Welcome Me are just amazing.

people give Hard Candy and MDNA a bad rep but at least they're good for working out to / partying.

Like a Virgin (Don't listen to it in full, usable for the singles)
Rebel Heart (I like a lot of songs, but it's just a mess of an album. Sounds like a overpacked mixtape on shuffle and the mixing is terrible to the point of headaches)
Ray of Light (A masterpiece but I rarely in the mood to listen to it in full)

1. Madame X: I like to pretend this album never happened. Not only do I not love any song from it, it actually irritates me to listen to most of it. I Rise, God Control, I Don't Search I Find and Crave are just OK. The autotune is revolting. I loved the visuals for the album and ideas, but I will never listen to this album ever again. The ONLY M album I don't like or love.

2. MDNA: Some great songs but the album feels soul less to me. Like it was done just to quickly get an album out.

3. Hard Candy: Once again some great songs, but her voice in many of the songs sound strained and thin like an whiny voice, just like Justin's. Plus, the album feels more to me like a Justin Timberlake album. Timbaland's production aged horribly.
