I respect you opinion and Madonna surely is above everyone alive when it comes to pop music and doesn't need to prove anything, but come on, do you really think that Brtiney, M.I.A, Nicki Minaj, Anitta (not to mention the boys) were invited purely because she wants to support them? Madonna first and foremost is a product, a brand, as everyone is in pop music, and of course her team (or/and herself) thinks about numbers when it comes to featurings (even though it doesn't work at all in the end LOL). Madonna doesn't have any kind of relationship other than work with those people.

If this featuring with Dua Lipa was all about supporting her she would have at least said something about the girl.

Britney, Minaj, MIA were artist featuring in a Madonna song.

This is Dua Lipa's featuring Madonna.

And?
Me Against the Music is not a madonna song btw, neither is Champagne Rosé.

And you are bringing up your opinion based on how you perceive Madonna and her team should feel or act.

Whatever that perception is.

My point is that in the past, Madonna had been supporting female artist: Alanis, Britney.. and she has been vocal about women in the music scene need to be supported.

And in the past Madonna had given her voice for collaborations with people: Queen's English, Sherazade, Just a Dream,Orbit etc.. where she did'nt need to and did'nt make her about herself.

Champagne Rose is a paid back collaboration like the Soltera with Maluma.

Based on these premises I don't feel strange about Madonna not making a big fuzz about giving her vocals to new upcoming female pop artist. And not being a Madonna track

Radio 1 (like all youth radio in the UK) love everything Dua Lipa puts out. This is a Dua Lipa track. That Madonna features on it, has got nothing to do with support from R1 for the track.

"Hallucinate" is currently on their A-List, getting played non stop, same as all of the Dua Lipa singles since she broke through.

No one is being forced to finally play Madonna again - Madonna just happens to feature on a popular artist's track for the first time in a decade.

To 40++ yo gay men yeah certainly... for the young generation quite the opposite imo. Without M in the video it has a chance to be on heavy rotation on tv channels... sad but true...

Madonna is queen of pop, an elder to younger artists.

She doesn't have a MILF/Cougar sex appeal which is attractive to younger people. Like Pamela Anderson would have, that's the difference.
