Using candy as a metaphor for sex isn't even original. Aqua's Candyman also uses candy metaphors and is a much catchier song IMO.

Very true. 

Compare "Candy Shop" with "Like a Prayer" and it's sexual connotations. It's a whole different level.

LAP is just a gazillion times better song all around, in every possible way. I don't like the ultra-over-produced sound of most of her 21st century output.
