It's a real mess, and I agree that Celebration tracks are the ones that are having all the attention, but that's not bad at all. 

But with Celebration being more popular, her studio albums lose many streams and attention. More people would've discover Like a Prayer (album) hidden gems if the studio version was the one promoted instead. Same with Material Girl.

Plus if Like a Prayer (track) is streamed more in Celebration, the stream sales will go in Celebration and will keep back the album sales of Like a Prayer. All the 140 million streams on Like a Prayer are translated into sales of Celebration, i hate it.

She doesn't care. If she did, this would've all been cleaned up by now. It also annoys me that the Spotify version of Holiday on both versions of her debut is the Immaculate Collection mix, the Dress You Up on LAV is an extended version and the Lucky Star mix on the IC is the wrong one.

Also, what's the point of putting all four greatest hits albums on streaming if they're just the same versions on the albums? It's redundant and counter productive on streaming. The only GH worth keeping is the Immaculate Collection because those songs are technically remixes, plus it is the highest selling compilation album/her highest selling release. Take the Celebration version of Into the Groove and tack it into Like a Virgin, take the Celebration version of Dress You Up and replace it with the version currently on Like a Virgin and pull a Mariah and make maxi-singles that contain every single mix, video mix and remix that has been commercially available even for the early stuff that didn't have any alternate mixes when originally released as a single but got some after.

Since I Want You was the only new song from STR that didn't get a single release, tack both versions of it onto the One More Chance maxi-single instead of having Veras on both that and You'll See and pull Something to Remember, GHV2 and Celebration off streaming or keep them but block out the repeat songs if they're going to cut into the streams/sales of the studio albums. 

Also, if every maxi-single gets a release, then those greatest hits might become useless to keep on streaming if certain versions are available on the maxi-single as well. Pulling them might also help bring up the streams of everything else, and I'm assuming streams from the maxi-singles count towards their respective albums.

It all seems so random, no plan or thought into what they're putting out. It really wouldn't take long for someone to sit down and plan what releases are put out. It's all so sporadic. I wish her team would reach out to us fans and let us help in some way with all this. It seems like many wasted opportunities.

They really should just get a team of her fans together and put them in charge of streaming. Just provide them with a digital folder of every Madonna single released and access to the streaming sites and let them get to work.

People like to listen to the full compilation albums. Especially Something to Remember which is a great album on its own. The only benefit of what you’re saying is tallying total album sales which does not mean much to anyone except fans.

Yes, that was Junior's Single Mix. The remixes I'm most looking forward to getting on streaming this year (hopefully) are Bedtime Story, Nothing Really Matters and Fever. My old singles collection is in a box in my parent's attic as I no longer have a CD player, so haven't heard these in years.
